  1. I’d imagine they’re waiting to do that as late as possible so it doesn’t get damaged while moving heavy machinery around the site. Surely a simple guide rail can be installed within a few days?
  2. @New display name phone was being weird and uploading that photo kept failing 🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. Landscaping has begun The main path alongside the river has also been poured (not pictured)
  4. - The newest slide tower and splash pad - Wet n Wild Junior - Super 8 Aqua Racer - Constrictor (recently repainted) - Wave Pool - Calypso Beach (has had a bit of love the last few years - Black Hole (recently repainted)
  5. Nope, but if you have the choice, don’t pay that much and visit the parks next year when things are open.
  6. My reading of the map is (just to spell it all out) Entry (and exit) into the land Emerald City/Munchkin Land (the main plaza area) You enter into the Emerald Palace (former AA queue building) which will have the lobby area before picking the queue for the coaster you choose You exit where the AA lift hill was and join the outdoor queue for Wicked Witch Or enter the queue for Kansas, which is roughly where the break run for AA was Here’s the exit for Wicked Witch And the exit for Kansas, which joins the exit path that Wicked Witch uses And then there appears to be a couple of paths for lookout points or even just BOH access, but that’s about it.
  7. It still baffles me that the first version of HSD began at the end of 2008 and was replaced early 2014 (just over 5 years). And I thought it was a very solid show that had some good rewatch ability. While HSD2 (despite having several changes over the years) has now been showing for over 10 years and it’s not good at all. It needs to go.
  8. I don’t believe so. Can you just repaint transparent fibreglass or is it a more complex process compared to all of the other slides in the park?
  9. @New display name got to start somewhere
  10. In response to your first answer: So this seems like they did this:
  11. 6pm to Midnight! Impressive. Have noise restrictions recently changed for DW because they used to only be able to operate rides until 10pm?
  12. Not saying you’re wrong, but I can’t find anything in the FY24 presentation that states this? The website does still say they’re getting new cars too
  13. Huh? Murrissippi Motors is brand new? And they’ve bought new vehicles that are electric and will keep riders in the car so they can’t jump out.
  14. The park have shared a testing video https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBirlO8t8_6/?igsh=NmJocThzenZ2NWox
  15. I’ve been wondering the same thing, but also, what was wrong with the existing first aid building? Because they essentially just swapped locations! There is a chance that building was having issues and needed to be removed and it did also mean they would finally remove the thatched huts. But was it all necessary? Don’t get be wrong, the new building looks pretty decent (don’t love the colour scheme, but that’s a personal preference) and having an arcade next to the kids area is likely going to bring in a greater return for the park. But I’d argue that money could’ve been used a lot better to build a new kids ride or use those funds to go towards refurbishing the entire kids area because right now it’s very tired.
  16. To summarise, the park is opening May 22, 2025 and tickets go on sale October 22.
  17. This ride has been disappointing for about a decade now. They fix things, but then other things breaks. But the boat bottoming out is definitely the worst part of it all and makes the ride experience very unpleasant.
  18. Arcades are designed to rip people off, so of course when you mix that with a theme park of course it was going to be stupidly price. They’ve got to pay for that shiny new building somehow.
  19. It’s been updated again. Little Rippers is apparently tomorrow, Temple of Huey is now next Saturday and Triple Vortex is mid December.
