Sx360 was finished construction before Christmas 2018 and just like sky voyager hasn’t opened, haven’t seen or heard any testing for the ride. I have called and emailed aussie world for months and they have no answers so I guess the new laws are having huge effect on getting new rides open to the public

This is fantastic news for sea world, three great rides a new wipeout at SeaWorld shame on dreamworld for replacing theirs with shade and seating 🙄. A full theme park model of the sky flyer and australia’s First Wooden roller build since wonderland Sydney the beast and beastie. And movie world bring Tom and jerry to the park as characters and studio showcase. Great news for all except dreamworld they will need to have some big announcement on rides if they will continue to compete for there future.

Great to see that some lucky people did ride it even know it never opened to the public

The only way Luna park Sydney has any chance of ever getting another roller coaster would be to put it over and water and away from the apartments but that never going to happen

We are all talking about dreamworld and sky voyager when Aussie world has built the sx360 ride, finished construction dec/jan and still not open. I have sent them email and Facebook messages asking about this ride and when is it going to open. Haven’t ever got a reply, does anyone know what has happen to this ride

I don’t think they will relocate it, they will keep it and charge for each ride and build development around that as cost would be too high as it’s a ride that is built into a building

Is the audio on trains for HWSW working again?

I fought the hotel was planned to go between top golf and outback Spectacular originally

Cost would be too high to keep it as a theme park as so they have too many old rides that are past there best and would have to be removed. They would get value selling it for land and development. It sad I used to live in Sydney and had to go thru losing wonderland Sydney, now I’m up here I don’t want to lose it but honestly it look like time is running out to save dreamworld

If the park is sold of for development in the future what rides would you like saved and moved to either SeaWorld or movieworld depending on costs personally I would like buzzsaw and at least tailspin, the claw or Pandamonium. SeaWorld does need some rides. Almost everything else is too old and outdated to be saved except some of the kids rides

And the end of dreamworld they might end up turning it into a Luna park style park in which you pay for each attraction as a theme park they seem to have given up on saving it

All reports were that it collided with a empty raft so I’m a little Sceptical about this story. It was reported (abc story) Cindy Low, Kate Goodchild, her brother Luke Dorsett and his partner Roozi Araghi were killed instantly from crushing injuries when their six-person raft collided with an emptyvessel and flipped backwards in 2016

If they move the exit for Arkham asylum to under lift hill and they could use the old lethal weapon theatre and old courtyard area for new ride/experience maybe a drop tower/tilting drop tower

None of this is helping the public image of this once great theme park. I have been hoping they would pull there finger out and save the theme park but with too many rides that are too old and always breaking down it not looking great. I still hope that they just close the park down for 6 months remove the broken and re open as a refurbished with a few new attractions (keeping sky voyager for reopening)and a new image for the public so people can trust the place, I would hate to lose another theme park in the end like we lost wonderland

The sx360 is completed just not open yet

I can’t believe a big investment by dreamworld and they have completely missed the major holiday period. I understand delays and such can affect these things but the ride still doesn’t have a opening date announced.

Just because brogent finished up don’t mean that the video was synced cause dreamworld will change the video eventually and brogent won’t come out just to sync it.

Can anyone confirm if buzz saw is open as it’s not on maintance list anymore

That will be great for Boxing Day to get two huge rides open will spread the crowds out abit Yea remove hot wheels since it had a long life since it was originally from Luna park Sydney and it not getting on well after they got new trains so it’s time to replace With a new coaster. Tower of tower will likely get removed in the future as well but I don’t think dreamworld want to give up on it yet even know it has so many problems

I’m not seeing the next generation side of the ride the projection mapping was very basic

The ride has returned most of the old theming with a few video screens with the monsters from the movie coming for you, axes are still there, lift has screens on it, disco room mostly dark still, loud music and couple of added extra sections the end of room is completely new set pieces. A little shocked to see most of the old theming that was removed was brought back still great ride wait time for those coming to it now over 1hr huge Line up into over flow
