Dreamworld staff are always the best, however the rides can be a bit ‘hit and miss’. movieworld staff are alright, a bit set in there way, but the rides are pretty well efficient.

Buzzsaw is closed because it is the only available entrance to the former gold rush area and for people working on the “I-ride”.

At movieworld today, and Arkham Asylum has got two trains. 1 on the track and another is currently being assembled. I thought Arkham only ever had 1train??

Tot2 is also listed on ride express as being open now

Once again Chanel 7 and 9 are blasting about Dreamworld’s safety systems cough cough “major breakdown”, “passengers terrefied for there lives”. Think it’s time for the news Chanel’s to get a life. Thoughts?

When I rode the giant drop about 8 months ago you could see everything then about 4 months ago it was all covered up

Motorcoaster, tower of terror, shockwave always close when it rains due to their systems. And normally the tails spin, claw and wipeout will close in the heavier rain, and then everything else will close when it’s torrential rain. Gennerally they close in torrential rain because claw feels like millions of needles stabbing you and tailspin close because the speed certain thrill seekers go on the ride.

I believe the only way for Dreamworld to beat movieworld is to build the biggest and best roller coaster in Australia to knock Dc rivals away. It would be the third in the world. A Rocky Mountain construction, single rail coaster would be amazing, however the cost to build it would be massive.

I remember when the wipeout reopened at the start of last year, the first month there was no water or cannons spraying you. About 1-2 month before it closed, they filed the pool and started spraying people.

It is most likely that Dreamworld is using that as the gate into the construction site, where as Disney put up a nice fence for guest to see and the access points would be backstage but look very similar.

Not always very reliable, but a good estimate.

It may be open till 6 but rides probably close at 5. When they did the open late till 9 for beat box rides closed an hour before the park closed.

In the rocky hollow video, looks like a log at the top of the hill.

The water has returned to the final drop, however still no boats testing.

At Dreamworld today and buzzsaw opend around 10:30, and the first carriage now have vinal seat covers on them. tailspin opened around 2 with 2 yellow planes still closed. Maintnace were there all morning in the motor room.
