  1. Answer "yes, I believe it was a failure of the flux capacitor" or similar and see if it gets printed.
  2. Exactly, do you check your tyre pressure every day, or just make sure it's not flat and check it once in a while?
  3. They've used green lantern as every one sees it, and it's the one that nearly killed several people.
  4. Plus there are bolts, motors, brakes, PLC etc that need transport and storage.
  5. @AlexB, makes the decision to put it in the old graveyard even stranger when you put it like that.
  6. We are expecting that space to relate to the new ride though. You could have probably squeezed into the Arkham courtyard if you used the old queue, relocated/removed the unused Arkham shop, and removed the old Lethal Weapon theatre. All moot now of course.
  7. I saw the show recently, and my thought was "how amazing are these animals". My dog won't do anything he doesn't want to do, I'm sure the dolphins are the same.
  8. Just before the change, it didn't. Was a point of discussion on here. Originally it did go much higher.
  9. Not at all, just didn't see the significance in the colour of the nuts. Figure you might have been fishing. Those are clearly just for the casting stage, as much larger ones are used for the ride from what I've seen.
  10. "Some 335 million guests safely enjoyed 1.6 billion rides at 400 USA amusement parks. The chance of being seriously injured on a permanent ride at a USA amusement park is 1 in 16 million. Only five per cent of these injuries – about 50 of those 1.6 billion – were serious enough to warrant a visit to a hospital." Should it be "the chance of being injured" (remove seriously)? As it then mentions the percentage of serious injuries later on.
  11. Last train of the day half loaded and you are in for a really quick launch to top speed.
  12. What needs to be kept in mind is, that to the GP, these rides are "scary and dangerous". Us tragics know how the winch system on Superman works, the block systems, brakes on Giant Drop etc. Quiz the average punter and they would probably think it possible for Giant Drop not to slow down, and that Superman is powered directly by a big electric motor. Education and communication is the key to this issue in my opinion.
  13. My suggestion was meant as both a sign & communication together, sorry that wasn't clear.
  14. But all of that is not difficult to do either. In the information age, leaving your customers uninformed is bad for business.
  15. Something like the airline pre-flight announcement? Just a simple sign. "In the event the ride stops unexpectedly, please remain calm and staff will update you as soon as possible. " I e-stopped on Paris Space Mountain, overshot the main brakes and ended up in the emergency brakes. Lights came on within a minute, brief announcement in English, French and Spanish, then we waited. Everyone was calm. Apparently a regular occurrence I found out later. I think the parks need to better inform the guests. "hi everyone, the computer wasn't 100% happy, so the ride was halted whilst we check everything out, you're perfectly safe".
  16. I think it's a reference to the inaccurate claims by some on Parkz, that the designers of the roof failed to take into account the height of the monorail. Also known as sarcasm
  17. June, the traffic was alright. September/October was ok but starting to get cold like Brisbane winters. Use PT and walking in the cities, you'll counter act all the weight you might gain from the food. Planes/trains to travel the big distances. Drove around Germany, France, North Italy and the UK. Italian drivers are a bit crazy and German Autobahns are awesome but not for P platers, they have a very high requirement to get you licence over there so it's nothing to have cars pass you at 200kph when the recommended Max speed is 130kph. Paris Disney is a must, Big thunder mountain runs out of fast pass very early.
  18. So when does the mega thread on "future works not part of this project" begin"?
  19. A friend of mine uses "Muppet" as his G rated insult, and sometimes is a bit of a Muppet himself. So the photo of Kermit on the phone is my photo of him when he rings, with the Ringtone being "the Muppet Show Theme"
  20. Breaking: first images of Paul talking to the reporter!
