  1. As in their toes? Otherwise your feet don't touch the slide.
  2. First time I've heard Dreamworld being a competitor to Universal Singapore.
  3. Why would Universal want the Dreamworks license in Australia?
  4. Naive question. If they're waiting for a part, why would they be doing testing?
  5. You can look forward to the theming update but also be disappointed with their decision to reopen the ride in its current state.
  6. Not even close to the same thing. The precinct does not enhance the ride experience.
  7. Got no issue with them replacing the theming. But if they're going to make wholesale changes, keep the ride closed during it. Or at the very least, warn guests first.
  8. Wow. That's dreadful. Is the audio still playing @joz?
  9. Was rough compared to the ones in the States that I've been on (eg. Manta). And that's pretty much every coaster in HK/SG...
  10. Fairly concentrated list, ignoring the locals - Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars Battlestar Galactica: Cylon Battlestar Galactica: Human Space Mountain Revenge of the Mummy The Dragon Hair Raiser (rough as guts for a B&M...) RC Racer Mine Train Arctic Blast
  11. MW - I'm yet to ride DD because it's never operating, but the area is themed well. Good to see amenities have been refurbished. Update to WWF was a bit underwhelming. But all made up for by the Star Tour being a big highlight. SW - went backwards. Nice roof though. DW - annus horribilis.
  12. Hope & a prayer or nudge nudge wink wink?
  13. Other thought - the spacing of these events just got worse. Hopefully they come up with something new around autumn/winter.
  14. Isn't this destroying the value of the memberships then? Oh wait, $20 entry. Hmm...
  15. Not sure why you linked to the ticket page, but for more info on Ripleys - http://www.ripleys.com/surfersparadise/ Edit - and it's the only one I've been to. Fairly inexpensive and worth the time if you're in to that type of thing.
  16. Themeparkfan wasn't asking what rides their family member could go on. They've instead highlighted the growing lack of family rides.
  17. I could live with them removing rides if they actually replaced them.
  18. If I was a cynic, I'd say they're trying to save money by keeping rides closed until Boxing Day.
