The last park I went to, was Knott's Berry Farm in January. I got an annual pass there as we were going for two days and it was cheap to get one then tickets for two days. Also the second last (which was the day before) is Universal Studios Hollywood. Also have a annual pass there as, we were going to get there two days for the price of one special, but the person working at the ticket desk said we might as well get the annual pass as it is the same price and we get 10% off everything in park. How could we refuse that.

I know, I was being a smart arse.

I point your attention to Hollywood Rip ride rockit. Different story but its selling point is the speakers.
-
Not saying its impossible just very very expensive and would need lots of care, more so then any of their parks.

The problem still is the jolting movements of the ship which are still present in almost any size of ship. It all depends on how the waves hit the sides of the ship not its size. It causes everything inside the ship to bounce around a little bit. Over time this could loosen the rides. Which are completely different to water slides. For example the Oasis of the seas, the biggest cruise ship in the world just has jolting movements in smaller seas when the waves are hitting in the right angle.

It would be too hard to sail around the world in safely. Imagine the Ferris wheel when the ship hits big seas. Plus all the sudden bumps at seas would destroy the ride so they would need to reassemble at each port. Would of been cool but would never of worked no matter how big the ship is. It would be commercially viable because its Disney and they will travel to places like Australia where many people will have never been to Disneyland and want to see it. Plus the ship stays in a place just long enough to make a decent profit but not long enough so numbers will start to drop, so that when they visit again they will not be bored by it. The only issue would be while its at sea.

What would be the next best investment for Aussie World?
CruiseSF replied to POP's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I don't think 2-3 million will be enough for a ghost train. More like 6-7 considering buzzsaw cost 7 million and redback is around 1-2 million. -
Because that is not a name brand and will not be bring people from the other side of the country to ride it when we have the gold coast.
-
They also have a bag that hangs from the restraints. You can chose to use a locker. I know this as I used it for my backpack when I went to hollywood earlier this year.
-
Better hope that US company is one of the main players in the theme park industry (Disney, Universal, Six Flags, Cedar Fair) to make a big difference, considering its placement.
-
On scooby they could do what Universal did on the mummy. Putting a mesh bag where you put all belongings, including bags. It has a rubber lined top so objects can't be thrown out.
-
It would be great if this ends up going ahead but I wouldn't think that WA would be the right place for it. I would of thought the east coast would be better. (Both tourism and population). I wonder who the major US partner is.

So its been in for awhile. It didn't sound like that when I read it, but even if that's the case it still shows why they create this rule. By the way I was relying on what was said as I cannot access the parks as I live in Sydney.
-
On the case of Scooby and no loose items, I'm 100% sure this would of been introduced because of the incident the other month were a bag was thrown out of one of the cars on California Screamin' at Disney California Adventure and landed on the track. This caused another car to be rapidly slowed when it hit the bag (bag was sitting over the track). The train barely made it through the loop then got stuck just after causing the Disney to call the fire brigade to help get people off the ride.

Bit surprising they didn't try and get access to the Transformers Ride and Indiana Jones as they are some of the biggest franchises from Paramount. I don't know how Star Trek would go as the franchise doesn't make that much money (going on how much money all ST films have made and putting it against other Paramount films), but it also has a lot of follower so, I may or may not be a good franchise.

Just zoom in.

It's cause I am caring more about finishing the sentence then actually worrying about spelling and also people only ever do that when they are trying to be annoying, aka trolling. I don't even know why this is still going on. I just stated a fact. I never said they should or they will, I just stated a fact. NOW GET BACK ON TOPIC.
-
I know your trying to troll me but it's not working.
-
Well thats mainly just Six flags as they keep the same ride for there parks. But please just finish now
-
I mean the layouts are very rarely the same. So its a different experience ever time. But can we please just end this.
-
Yet there are similar types of rides to the El Locos yet B&M rides are unique. Plus can we end this as it all started from me just stating a fact, That they are really not that much more expensive. Its all a little silly.
-
Yes I do, the prices will of gone up but it would not be as extreme as $25m
-
Sorry not that Green lantern the one at Six Flags great adventure (I thought you would of been smart enough to figure that out but I guess I was wrong). And by the way I am not saying that they should build one I was just stating a fact.
-
Example of the pricing Silver bullet $16m, Green Lantern $12m. It all depends on the type of coaster but the basics are around that mark.
