  1. There used to be sparklers near the final drop but were.never replaced when it caught on fire. I dont know of any other changes. I have seen an orginal video of it on youtube i will try and find it.
  2. It will contain: [*]18 animatronics [*]8 projected 3D screens (Including a smoke screen) [*]20 vehicles [*]105 physical targets and 200-300 virtual ones [*]197m of track [*]5 minutes [*]Sally Corp is working with Alterface (interactive media systems), Threshold Animation Studios (Animations), Bertazzon (Vehicles), Bose (Audio), Techni-Lux (Light), RealID and MSI Design, Inc. or Sculpt Studios Australia http://www.newsparcs.com/en/article/00005848-new_sally_corporation_3d_interactive_dark_ride_set_for_warner_bros_movie_world_in_australia
  3. Just because there isn't a guide rail doesn't mean there isn't a track. Car racing is on a track yet I don't see any guide rail.
  4. This project is almost impossible for me to do because i need photos yet no one would upload them and I am unable to get them myself. Plus I entered year 12 so I have had a lot more things going on with school as well as interviews.
  5. Why are you so negative? I don't share the opinion of Ghostrider. When I was on it I couldn't wait to get off. It was so rough. I don't know if it has always been that bad but in its current shape it feels like my organs are trying to change places.
  6. In regards to trackless one of Sally Corps other rides, Challenge of Tutankhamon uses trackless technology. Also here is a video of the ride to get an idea of Sally Corps theming, for those who have never seen it before. Sorry if any of this has come up.
  7. So weeds and plants growing through the track and pieces of the supports rotted completely through (and nothing done to replace it causing a safety issue) is not bad upkeep.
  8. Except not Ghost Rider at Knotts Berry Farm. That is an example of the upkeep needed for Wooden roller coasters. As well as the Scenic railway at LPM which is falling apart due to lack of upkeep.
  9. They need to do something to compete if they didn't they would lose out. Plus it is still a fair distance from where WNWS is going to be built.
  10. Well if you want a shockwave size attraction every year.
  11. I actually get the opposite with most people going to Dreamworld as it is better value for money (in terms of rides) plus theming is not all that important (at australias level) to most people. Although all most everyone hates Seaworld due to lack of things to do (even before recent closures.
  12. Is it just me or does GL break down all the time and is constantly closed for maintenance. Its something I noticed on facebook with constantly getting messages saying that GL is currently down for maintenance. With AA having issues and having minimal rides, it really creates a problem with capacity in the park.
  13. One last thing, the old days no longer matter. So I only am talking about the Wii. Actually the game division of Sony is the only part of the company that is making a profit right now. They have just recently made it a primary focus of the company because of it.
  14. Actually the amount of sales in this means jack. The wii has been losing money for years as almost everyone (who wants one) has already got one. In terms of money earn't the Wii has done by far the worst. If they had learnt from their mistakes what is up with the Wii U. Many sources are saying that it has less power then the current gen consoles and Developers saying it has slightly more power, but Sony and Microsoft are about to go to the next gen and then the Wii U will once again be in the past, plus its controller is weird. In terms of sales the PS3 and Xbox 360 have sold around the same amount consoles. Xbox slightly more with the PS3 catching up, but due to the pricing difference the PS3 has made a lot more money then the Xbox. So the order of sales is Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 but when it comes to money that the companies have earn't are PS3, Xbox 360, Wii. The only reason why the Wii sold more was because of the low price and target market (casual gamers). Although this brought people in quickly it has failed for them in the long term due to lack of sales in the latter part of its life. Sales on the portable systems also can not speak for the companies as each have a different target market causing the difference sales. The DS is marketed at kids while the PSP/Vita is marketed at gamers and older kids/young adults. Anything marketed at kids will always sell more due to kids always wanting what they see (not the best way to explain but you know what I mean). The PSP and Vita suffer because the target market is for elder gamers. The problem is that most elder gamers don't want to play on a portable device. Also developers are not making games for the devices so it suffers from a lack of games.
  15. I believe it is a lot cheaper and easier for them to leave Eureka standing. The ride needed to shut down as it was not possible for them to afford repairs as the parts were no longer made by anyone for the model. It would be hard to remove the mountain is integrated with surrounding structures.
  16. Well the whole of the Green Lantern is cheap by movieworld by that standards of the park. It is basically like a six flags car park coaster. Plus AA looks pretty cheap, compared to the rest of the park.
  17. It could be possible that this could be the new ride for wiggles world. WW doesnt have any vacent land surrounding it and the river boat is right at the entrancs to ww. So the could be a possible reason for he closure.
  18. Because some people just complain and complain and if the parks do something that isn't pointed at them they hate it and think its a bad idea. Many people don't like Dreamworld with many of their reasons for it being closing down rides and leaving them standing and adding rides that are not marketed towards them but more to people who only visit once every few years. These people also don't complain when Sea World and Movie World have been doing the same thing. (Not all of them but most) Wonder how long until someone strikes back.
  19. Two days One day at each park. I assume it came from the fact that when the park was first envisioned it was John Longhurst's dream. So when it was built it got called Dreamworld. Age, it was in a horrible condition (trouble with getting repairs done without the manufacturer) by the end of its life and it was cheaper for Dreamworld to remove the coaster then try and fix it. Yes it is once again at Dreamworld. Its even in the exact same building. They are actually Koala's. Their names and Kenny and Belinda
  20. Here is a short video about the first 10 years of California Adventure. Warning, some coarse language. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzrKI9_4M3E&feature=player_embedded
  21. Unless it is was in the agreement you made when you purchased the pass, they are not breaching any law, as you agreed that you were paying for what they were offering at the time.
  22. Well your not really going to be paying attention to the track during the ride.
