The park has been doing a hell of a lot of cost cutting recently. It might surprise you.

Don't think they are using the show stage this year but who knows. I mean, with SDSC being closed, they could use the queue area for a maze. Wouldn't be the first time they have done it.

For example. Last years TVC. The shots right up until you see Michael and the girl in the closet all had extras. This are the kind of shots that they will film those nights. All other shots with actual actors and characters (e.g Valak, Michael Myers) are all done at a different time with just those select cast members. The Conjuring TVC wasn't filmed in the maze at all. They set up a different set in the same shed as From Dusk Till Dawn which stayed there for the remainder of the event. The car stayed that year. That's when they had the Zombieland precinct. She car shot flames every now and then as if the car had caught fire or was blowing up.

Not necessarily. The TVCs aren't always filmed in the maze itself. The Conjuring wasn't. They will only need to film stuff that requires extras and people walking around in the background. Like shots that need the park to look like it has guests and whatnot. The people featured in the TVC are hired actors.

I personally don't think it will be either of those.

There are rumours going around about 5 mazes this year. We already know 3 and have heard the 4th is going to be an original concept. Can't say anything for sure about the 4th maze or if there will be a 5th until the announcements start.

Also Arkham has reopened, incase no one noticed or mentioned.

No. You can enter as many times as you like but you can't win more than once in the same costume. People that have won aren't necessarily there to enter again. Sometimes they are just there dressed up again with their friends to see if a friend can win as well. Tonight was the first time that they had a child win. He was dressed as the Joker. It is the same kid that was dressed up as Scarecrow for the first 2 nights.

They did today. Batgirl won. No kids have won it yet. Have all been adults.

I don't think that GCPD officer has any other costumes. He shows up everywhere wearing the exact same thing. Even cons.

Another adult won today. She was half Joker, half Batman. I believe she got to the park around 4ish. There was a family that had been there all day. Dad as Green Lantern, Mum as prisoner Harley and 2 sons as Jared Leto Joker and Clark Kent. I was hoping one of them would have won to be honest.

Each character generally has one pre-paid photoshoot per day. Looney tunes have two i think. But they all have free sessions. You can get a appearance list from the Photo Centre. This is generally due to people getting a seat for the 5:30pm Parade.

I had a chat tonight to the parents of the boy that was dressed up as Scarecrow yesterday. He was there again today. There were about 7 kids and 3 adults chosen for the costume competition. One of the adults dressed up as Star Sapphire won.

All characters do free photo sessions. You just have bad timing. Head to the Photo Centre and you can pick up a list of when all the characters are out. Only one session a day per character is Pre-Paid.
