  1. The ride was still due to reopen according to their website as of a week or so ago.
  2. Wonder if this has anything to do with FN.
  3. The map is accurate you are just looking at the wrong thing. I have indicated in red the actual path to SE. The white paths there exist but past the department store it is a staff only area.
  4. Or Roxy. Last year they had a VR experience the first few nights in there that ended up getting cancelled. Considering these are all maze locations, No.
  5. Zombie Laser Tag is now available to book.
  6. They don't have just the joker as a park villain. There is also Catwoman and Harley Quinn who appear daily. They have also already brought in a few more regular characters. Including Marvin the Martian, Porky Pig, Audrey Hepburn and also Wile. E Coyote.
  7. I believe last years precinct was based on Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Unsure if it will be the same for this years maze.
  8. Due to the length of the normal line, the backwards facing line was definitely quicker. The only time we had more than 3 or 4 cycles in front of us was when they were adding the other train to the track and it backed up to maybe 12 cycles. They were selling limited wristbands per each half hour session. Yes, you got given a 30min window in which to use it. I would just ride it forwards then buy your backwards ticket and line up again. It is $10 so they can sell out but today that was only about half an hour in advance towards the end of the day.
  9. You can already buy the passes for the back row from the Ride photo booth.. At around 3:45pm - 4pm they added the second train to the tracks to make sure they could go through the rest of the people that were already in line before the park was due to close.
  10. My first ride on this was backwards. Definitely a must do. It does feel a lot more smoother going forwards though especially at the front of the train as you aren't just being flung around at the tail end through the tight corners. I could only do backwards twice before calling it quits due to it giving me a headache. The bunny hops are the end are awesome going backwards, as is the ascent to the top. Looking out over to the Batwing, you can definitely see that you are just above it as you reach the top of the lift hill. Definitely recommend going backwards for your first time on it as it makes it a bit more thrilling when you cannot see what it coming up. Nice shot of @Slick there!
  11. The ride will have Fast Track. It just won't be available for a while.
  12. Okay so here are some non phone images as promised but probably still horrible and equally as out of focus.
  13. The trucks that were taking the cranes away arrived while i was there. Around Midnight I'd say.
  14. I finally decided to head home after being around since 6:30pm, watching them install the 3 remaining support beams. The head touched down on top around 11:15pm. Was hoping to stick around until the head had been attached and lit up for the first time to see it all working and complete. I left around 2:30am when they seemed to be having issues with(or just generally taking a long time) to attach the back left hand side support to the head itself with multiple trips to the ground and back. And also back and forth between each end of the support itself. I was going stick around until 3am at the latest to see it all lit up but when they still hadn't moved to connect the right hand side support I decided to call it a night knowing they wouldn't be done by 3am. I'll have some photos(If I have any better ones than I have already shared. They are horrible. I know.) I will share later tonight. Been a long 8 hours. 😴
  15. Been at MW for the last 4 hours. Got kicked out even though we were fine where we were after talking to other staff. Best photos I've been able to get unfortunately and phone is about to die. Joker head is vertical and has been for the past 45mins but no sign of movement yet.
  16. Until we get word that the Joker head is up then the soft opening isn't happening. Which could be Monday. No ones knows. It is all dependant on weather conditions at the moment. Green Lantern was closed this morning to install the head but since it was too windy they did opening checks and the ride was open by the time I left at midday.
  17. It definitely won't be going up today. Unless the wind drops drastically. Ride won't soft open without it.
  18. It's actually painted. First signs of clearing for FN has started as well. Benches have gone from one side of Main St. Hero Square has gone. Flames are up. Posts have gone up for the fencing going towards the sheds as well. Hard to get photos of. Other than the alley, there are no other signs of FN coming that I could see. Probably won't see much over the next week with people concentrating more on the coaster.
  19. This will be the Joker on the right and Braniac on the left I'm assming they will do the same for Batman and Superman on the superhero side.
