Ever since the villains area opened up at MW, I've always thought they could re-theme Wild West Falls into something along the lines of a dark ride themed to the Penguin. The whole mountain would need to be repainted however into a frosted mountain-type look, the flumes would need to be replaced with rubber duckies or penguins, and you'd need to add some more props but its an idea and it would add an extra ride to the villains area. For those who have no idea what I'm going on about, watch Batman Returns and the underground sections where Penguin travels around under the city. Probably would cost too much to do however.....

Looks like 2017 will be the first year where I will be looking at other options aside from themeparks when I hit the GG. With Vikings Revenge gone from SW, Scooby Doo looking rather sad, and TRR and seemingly Log Plume gone, a lot of the family options seem to be drying up. I'm hopeful that this is all in preparation for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and that 2018 will be a banner year but looks like we'll be going through a low before hitting a high. Well, at least we'll finally have an excuse to to try Putt Putt and Jetboating!!

Does anyone know whether this will be open by the end of the school holidays?

Damn, after missing out the past few years, I time my annual leave for next year for the April period when it's usually on and now find out its in January, at Seaworld instead of Movieworld!! First world problems..... ?

What happened with that anyway? Was the claim dismissed or still ongoing?

Isn't the fall in attendance at Seaworld's USA sites due more to the negative publicity of the "Blackfish" documentary though? Although I do agree, Seaworld AU does need another attraction, there's just so much unused area visible.

Hi guys/gals, Longtime lurker, first time poster. I've been going to the Gold Coast for the last 7 years and counting and I seem to miss Carnivale every year. Is there a rough guide as to what dates they are held? Last year I missed the first week by 4 days and the year before that I missed it by 2 weeks (I put in for annual leave 6 months in advance) and I'm hoping to catch it next year. Any guide as to when I should put in for annual leave for next year?
