  1. Justice League is 10 years this coming September. I don't know enough about lifespans of rides and referbs but I feel tech has made leaps and bounds in the last 10 years and this ride could benefit. Or knock down and put something decent in. The JL ride is the wrong ride for that "thrill" area of the park.
  2. I guess I can never post again...
  3. Day early lets them be the first seen. I've noticed this trend recently. The sponsored ad is common these days for April Fools messages as it shows they are a "fun" company/service to more people than their existing customer base, and I'm sure its got some targeting, making it a "cheap" ad.
  4. The real question, which rollercoaster is that actually?
  5. Repeating what I said in the Leviathan thread. We let our passes expire. Nothing grabbing us at either park to fork out that sort of money for the family. I'll prefer to send my kid to Bounce or something
  6. I think a horizontal wooden fence would probably be nicer though and still has the gaps between the planks to see through.
  7. Can only hope so. And hope the inside effects are operational again too
  8. Car insurance is cheaper for white cars as the replacement parts are cheaper. I believe the parts are manufactured in white then resprayed to match the car colour, unless its a specialist part, otherwise no idea.
  9. Unless the announcement of it becoming Sea Movie World is just months away! Country Movie Paradise is shortly after.
  10. Is is possible the theming wasn't fully fleshed out, and so as the pandemic went on and delays were inevitable they either kept changing their minds or adding to it, causing more delays?
  11. Yeah I thought the dark ride section used "fog" and the wall holes was mist
  12. Is that referring to #1 or #2 in this pic? Or am I missing something else all together?
  13. https://www.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/ still regularly uses the Credits term. Along with people printing A4 signs off to celebrate their 100/200/300 coasters. Wild times over there.
  14. My Son really enjoyed Yogi so based on that I think it was a good change from Lego. Interested to see what comes next and if it ties into a new release or an old favourite.
  15. For those who missed it, said photos are found here. https://www.parkz.com.au/update/2021/10/20/721-Sea_Worlds_dormant_beast_up_close_with_the_Leviathan_wooden_roller_coaster.html
  16. If they had muddy water run-off from the rain/floods then it could have been emptied and re-filled
  17. Korean manufacturers have some of the lowest wait times KIA has also stockpiled chips and actually have cars ready for delivery in AUS. Other 'budget' companies like MG who have less tech and 'features' have shorter time frames also as they use less chips/semiconductors.
  18. Always exceptions to the rule and with the wide variety of manufacturers the timeframes change. Additionally, the cars are assembled in global plants so there is a chance you took over someone's spot as they cancelled or your car had a higher value/returns for the manufacturer. I work in the motor insurance industry and we have close relationships with the major manufacturers in Australia so this info is accurate.
  19. New vehicles are taking over 18 months to ship due to shortages in microprocessors and aluminium and then add shipping delays on top of that. The only thing thats released recently that doesn't appear to have shortages is Samsungs new phone. On the car topic, feeling for anyone who lost their car in the floods. They won't be able to replace it with a new one for a very very long time...
  20. Alloy of Iron and Carbon Python just doesn't have the same ring to it.
  21. GCB probably didn't notice either and just pulled it from their stock collection.
  22. hilariously we made a family decision about a month ago not to renew our passes until at least September
