  1. Cheers for the clarity. I have no industry friends. You're all my friends. - is that sad?
  2. How big is the chicken? $20-$25 is pretty standard pub pricing outside of a theme park
  3. Am I missing a post on here or has that info not leaked onto Parkz yet?
  4. This one is a lot bigger than just "brought back" Like they had to install a massive new screen, and one that can handle full sun (which it does). I mean yeah advertisement $$ on the screen would help but im sure maintenance of it isn't cheap, especially when a block of pixels dies.
  5. Do we count Supervillains + Spooky Nights too? Honestly their list is surprisingly long, considering COVID + DWs 2016 incident industry fallout.
  6. In QLD at least a lot of testing sites are closed because they can't staff them (like LPS and peoples theories on some GC rides) so people are turning to RATs, (myself included) since I'm not lining my young son up for 6+ hours to get a test. Luckily the RAT shortage is supposed to be short lived with stock arriving this week.
  7. So the Kirby/Bikash big plays are NA at SW, New slide tower and splash pad at WnW and the clearly COVID Delayed, unannounced (publicly) AA replacement? Sorry, and the Boost Juice Truck.
  8. Wonder if the website is linked to the VQ system so when they update the app/VQ the website is updated. Edit: Also could be the other way around or just simply and probably more likely, updating their own records database which links to the 2.
  9. Thats assuming Doomsday actually opens long enough to close for maintenance
  10. Some of those are quite valid questions to be honest. We clearly know the answers but yeah...
  11. was it making loud screeching noises when the brakes engaged?
  12. From what has been said previously the equipment for the launch is insufficient to do that, but if the full length of track was kitted out, I suppose it could
  13. I left the park around midday and Kaboom wasn't operational at that point. Super Ripper is realllly nice and 100% they need a few more body slides.
  14. Not until Sunday for me unfortunately. But jussst before the borders open up.
  15. The A-frame signs advising you're leaving a licensed area at VRTP Parks serve as a good reminder there is Alcohol near-by for me. Just wish they were not A-Frame signs in the middle of the path.
  16. White Christmas was sold out, and when we left the park looked very busy. From the lift hill we could see all the cars coming in too, so it looks like people who were doing White Christmas didn't come in for the day, as said above, because its not a whole day park. If you want to jump on rides with no queue, the change over period was awesome and highly recommend it.
  17. Wet n Wild in the morning and park in the arvo. The change over between normal operations and White Christmas (from like 4 until 5.306ish) had almost no lines on all rides hes tall enough for so after Rivals like 4 times in a row, Scooby a couple and Road Runner + Space Launch he was more interested in food and didn't want to "stay for the parade he saw last year" we also saw a local Christmas parade on the Friday night so he was a bit done with the whole Christmas aspect.
  18. My kid got bored at 6pm so we left to have dinner at Bettys Burgers and head home. We had an awesome day/night
  19. Isn't a Convention Centre essentially a fitted out Sound Stage anyway?
