  1. Adding onto @DaptoFunlandGuy, for the people coming from Brisbane / Sunshine Coast / Brisbane Airport, it saves like 30 mintues getting to your hotel. If I'm going down the coast for a staycation I only glance at SW Resort, due to how far away it is and the number of hotels around it that I can get for a better price. Once this new Hotel is built, it will be a serious option. Leaving work at 5pm and getting stuck in that traffic, I would love a closer hotel.
  2. And now imagine how much it would remove if the show was decent. My 7 year old loves the show, but even then we only watch it (at his request) every other time or if the queues are just too much effort and I CBF waiting.
  3. Generally, our parks don't operate past 5pm so.... no? I wonder if this hotel development also includes a multi-story carpark.
  4. No way, they are always unique and cool.
  5. I guess it will be half as good as the W then?
  6. I am too. It feels good with so much going on at our parks and I'm excited in the future to be torn between which annual pass to buy.
  7. But the real question @Bikash Randhawa is when do we get self serve back?
  8. Good to know. This will likely never happen but looking at the photos it looks like retro-fitting block brakes there would be a somewhat easy job? looks like the track is built with the brakes in mind? In the super rare case DW decide an extra train and having 2 on course is a good idea, that is. (never gonna happen)
  9. If its only a trim brake why would it need evac stairs?
  10. Are these back to being self serving now or still staff attended due to "Covid" even though pretty much everywhere else lets you fill up your own drinks (Costco, Event Cinemas ect...)
  11. Are there any DA's or Tenders out there for VRTP apart from the WnW one?
  12. I have trouble speaking Bikash. Is he saying there is 2 announcement periods? 1 soon (tm) and 1 later in May?
  13. I can't find 1987 results but draw 1621 Saturday 01/02/1997 were 25, 8, 15, 39, 34, 37, 44 and 42 with a division 1 prize pool of $2.3 million.
  14. Could that be their weird wording for a splashdown pool?
  15. I've seen a few comments complaining on MW's FB page
  16. Maybe people just aren't as into butt stuff as the internet thinks they are
  17. A Bluey ride(s) would lock down the current kids market (in my mind). MW kids offering being looney tunes just doesn't have "kids" impact anymore. My boy learnt about Looney Tunes from Movieworld, and thats just not that exciting when Batman is around the corner who hes seen on TV and T-Shirts and Cartoons ect previously. And I'm just talking IP here, not even discussing ride offering. I think Sea Worlds Nick zone is pretty solid with their IP though and still relevant.
  18. This sound a bit dicky and a bit of an out, but... If @themagiciandoesn't provide a source, its confidential. This forum has "reputation" for that reason though. Someone with the top rep on the forum posts and doesn't provide a source, they still can generally be trusted, just use common sense and make sure its not a joke. If you or even me started posting stuff, then sure be skeptical.
  19. Well they don't need to. Thats what Sky Voyager was for
  20. I should also mention my company offers annual direct debit but monthly is much more profitable as @Brad2912 said due to the smaller bill size. We offer a completely different product, more or less a necessity but the same "rules" still apply. Our customers aren't loyal, no matter what corporate tells us, they just like small regular, hardly noticeable bills.
  21. At my company we encourage our customers to pay by the month with auto renewal as the customer retention rate is pretty much double. Not particularly loyalty but money is money
  22. Wouldn't VRTP retain the right to also just cease memberships at their will?
  23. Please provide MW feedback, particularity if a specific staff member was helpful, such as the front gate attendant. Direct positive feedback is a lot less uncommon than complaints and means a lot for all involved.
