  1. So I guess this thread is done now?
  2. 3. they also pretended the giant purple fuchsia coaster in the carpark didn't exist for a while.
  4. Actually to a bank, having an Afterpay account is debt, regardless of if its used or not. But that same bank will ask you to close credit cards before issuing a mortgage and then just issuing you with one of their credit cards. Banks love when you have debt if the debt is with them.
  5. This discussion has already been had a bit ago. but since its back I'll throw my skewed opinion in. I don't mind Afterpay being front and centre for annual passes, but I don't like it for day passes. At least with an annual pass, you still have access to the park as you're paying it off.
  6. If Superman can't launch as fast as it does now, I don't want it.
  7. Aqua Blast could literally be something as lame as stationary waterguns for a passing slide. Keep your expectations low my people. This is an Aussie theme park we're talking about here.
  8. It would be a little weird to get another one so quick after Kaboom!
  9. I think DW should have printed until they have a working app with an inbuilt map (bonus points for GPS map) Once they have that, then I'm 100% okay with the parks selling a printed map (although ideally at a nicer quality) as otherwise its not environmentally friendly and an additional cost the park really doesn't need. 90% of the time, if there is a free printed map, people will grab it then bin it. not likely to recycle either.
  10. These fucking turnstiles have gone full circle. Its almost Scooby Doo Eyes level.
  11. Help me remember, but didn't DC Rivals have queue shade issues initially also? Or no fans or something like that
  12. I swear I saw ribs at some point in the prior marketing, but otherwise looks pretty solid
  13. I won't be down that way until the new year, any chance someone can grab a photo of the menus?
  14. It was a poorly worded post, the last part (below) where you provide what appears to be your opinion on something you haven't yet been on to experience and something thats not widely been documented (yet).
  15. I weirdly associate chain link fences with theme parks so I really like how this has been incorperated. I dislike wooden fences as it blocks the views of off ride guests.
  16. But also, School Holidays for teens, and the Forum hasn't been flooded yet either. Wouldn't mind some more wild, inaccurate, baseless claims and assumptions along with idiotic questions to help me get through this last few weeks of work for the year.
  17. I saw a post on Facebook with pictures of the ride in testing. For some reason Facebook has decided to promote a bunch of Cedar Point fan groups to me, which in this case has worked out okay. Edit: I don't know if this is new or not. @Dean Barnett normally keeps the updates flowing here.
  18. Yeah I assumed a restaurant is easier to open than multi-million dollar mechanical ride, but still, want to keep my hopes and dreams in check.
  19. Yeah look, sold me pretty easily. Hopefully Janes Rivertown Restaurant is open also, will make a great day of it.
