Was anyone else really annoyed by the editing in that video?

They were fined $3.6million https://www.news.com.au/national/queensland/courts-law/ardent-leisure-facing-multimillion-dollar-fine-for-2016-dreamworld-tragedy-that-killed-four/news-story/47f80b48864df0676a85578127c38b41 Edit: I didn't post the News.com.au story because it was rubbish. They just updated a previously earlier written story with the figure.

Should be fine. From https://www.casa.gov.au/knowyourdrone/drone-rules I don't know if point 1 or 2 applies to SW, I'm assuming point 2, which then allows drones over 100grams, provided there are no helicopers taking off or landing.

Brads lying @Smol bean. He just wants to keep all those sweet sweet photos showing minimal progress of paint drying to himself.

Wet N Wild as a creek going through it too, blocking out a bit of land. Assume it will be treated much the same and just avoid the area.

Wow... even Rivals has an age limit of 7 and the height is 130cm on that one. (my boy is 3cm off!)

Most Iconic Australian Theme Park Attraction

I thought supermans was a fog initially before switching to a cheaper mist before removing it? I could be wrong though. 2005 was a long time ago. -
Most Iconic Australian Theme Park Attraction

Can you explain that further? When I was there in August, Batwing would launch anywhere between before the countdown started, right down to 2. Never got to 0. Could it be to do with the weight of everyone onboard? Less weight the earlier the launch? -
Wasn't there something on the break run also?

Disney fans petition for Disneyland in Australia

As a family, if the passes went north of $150, we would start to have to seriously think where the parks fit in our budget. Anything above $200 and it will more than likely be a "every 2 or 3 years thing". I'm sure VRTP has done a lot of market research to understand where the cap sits, I just hope financially our caps are within each others budgets. -
The New Atlantis - Construction Updates

For some reason, and I can't explain why but I really like the stainless steel poles/wires look. It just looks nice and modern to me. Kinda in line with how the seal area looks too. -

QLD also has to want to let you in too.... -
I saw this, its essentially a training run. They showcase different elements of the show and how they train the seals to do those parts. I think the one I saw, they were literally training a seal as it was refusing to do some parts and wasn't doing other parts correctly. I found this more interesting and there was enough 'Seal Tricks' to keep my 6 year old entertained. They also did some extra tricks that aren't in the show which was cool.

Starting a project =/= construction. Starting a project is planning, funding, approval and contracts. My point was now is the time to do that if the project is self funded as the other parts the government will assist -
Which former attraction do you miss the most?

Care to share? Batman ride was an all time favourite of mine as a kid, would love to see this. -

COVID is actually a good time to start projects, if the company is self funding. Governments will cut red tape, approve stuff they wouldn't normally, all in the name of more Jobs and increased future tourism. As shown, governments are also willing to throw funds at things to boost them along or speed projects up. -
Dreamworlds biggest problem is the media bringing up the deaths. Once the court cases are settled and DW focus on moving forward with new rides and shows (which they are working towards already) there will be minimal opportunity for the media to bring it up and it will fall out of public memory. Time is all they need to recover their public image. Cash is what they need to afford time.

I hope the builders do -
I hate to be saying this but... Where is the need? SW have committed to building 3 new rides that don't encroach on that space. The money is better spent at other parks where there re SBNO rides/slides taking up usable space. The only thing Vikings Revenge is doing is blocking SW from building some better paths but from the already built path to Vortex they have clearly committed to an entrance already. I'm assuming it will be Arkham and Mach 5

Can hardly notice the fence with the hedge wrapping on it. Good work VRTP!
