  1. The slide tower concept needs to change imo, we need something like the old terror canyon weaving through the landscape. I know it’s limited as to what you can do, but even the new kaboom tower is average. Don’t they still have that decent plot of land near the Kamikaze? That’s prime realestate for a good themed slide
  2. Must of run into problems. Will be interesting too see if it opens for the September school holidays. Surely this would be the only attraction they are pumping money into
  3. Probably why Movieworld new precinct barricaded all there ques behind prison black fencing. But he’s sad to see.
  4. Doesn’t take long until idiots start to wreck stuff. Jungle Rush que line
  5. I mean to be honest the whole area is very generic, considering we have Atlantis at SeaWorld. Yes the emerald city facade is nice but it’s very slapped together. Massive bland green walls, open areas with a few cosmetics. They did say world class, we are far from that.
  6. I don’t think it’s the Motorcoaster being popular. When I was there a few days ago, the load times are horrible and to no fault of the staff, as we all know it’s the restraint systems. Plus only running one train doesn’t help.
  7. Used to love the twister! Double screamer, terror canyon, the memories!!
  8. Mississippi motors generally looking at 30-45 minute wait very popular. Jungle Rush roughly the same, if you get there for opening head straight there, we managed to get 2 rides on Jungle Rush back to back with no wait.
  9. We all know that if done correctly projection mapping can be amazing. Dreamworld has excelled over the last few years so you could trust them to do it correctly. Movieworld on the other hand…. Will wait and see what Scoobydoo looks like once reopened.
  10. Yep he was definitely hands on today, the place was packed! We only just renewed our Dreamworld passes this morning after getting Village passes a month ago and being severely disappointed in Movieworld. Dreamworld just seems so much more positive, the staff are great, the operations and speed in the ride lines are amazing compared to Movieworld. Just hope to see they continue the Rivertown area into the Motorcoaster part. 1 thing, projection mapping in the temple switch track area would be a welcome addition to Jungle Rush
  11. I have just done forwards and backwards with my kids, awesome ride, great area. Greg young was helping at Jungle Rush and is now serving drinks at Jane’s restaurant. Good too see overall an awesome place
  12. Ahhh ok makes sense! Cheers for clearing that up
  13. $42 for brisket nachos is a bit out of touch imo
  14. The budget ran dry, maybe Albo was in charge with the wasteful money? Jokes aside, to have people lining up in the sun with lacklustre theming is not good. Crazy considering The New Atlantis was a massive step up. They did mention the que line would be on Levianthans level, and yet he we are. I’m sure more will be added, because the main area is just a painted concrete mess
  15. I’m hoping for a water ride in place of the motor coaster to tie the whole area in, but will understand if they do a retheme for cash wise. A wicked river/dark ride would do that area wonders
  16. Loving the reviews etc so far and the honesty. I agree with the Magician, the Kansas Twisters que line looks good, but there are is definitely room for improvements. The $100 million they claim surely would include the removal of Arkham but even so that seems like overkill. Space has definitely favoured Dreamworld in this instance and the backdrop of the river etc behind Rivertown, but overall it looks like Rivertown might have won this one, but the public in general win with 3 new coasters and a massive improvement in scenery compared to what we are used to
  17. I actually laughed at both of those statements, Movieworld love throwing out these big statements
  18. Gold Coast bulletin just put a sneak peak through looks actually quite good the house with the swinging lights, que lines etc
  19. Tomorrow is going to be a great time for theme park guests. Movieworld opening the OZ Section, but I also imagine Dreamworld will have a decent soft opening all day. Especially now Movieworld has posted the opening on their socials. Great time to be a coaster enthusiast and congrats to both parks for making more themed rides and areas.
  20. Greg Young did say there are multiple things they can do with this coaster so the possibilities are endless so to speak.
  21. That’s awesome!!! Good theming on the inside of the temple and q line?
  22. Well aware, promotional video, hoping to see a pov very soon. As Greg Young said the layouts for this can be endless. So I’m excited to see
  23. Jungle rush seems to be operating with guests, staff perhaps?
  24. 100% motorcoaster has to go, a retheme in my opinion is a waste of money. An amazing water ride integrated into Rivertown would do wonders. But as others have stated White water world needs some love to
