Did they really need to incorporate a loose item system? We didn’t have it before, hoping this doesn’t stuff up operation loading times as this ride is a people eater, this will just slow it down.

Yeah Movieworld just posted it looks awesome

Quite a funny little jab at MovieWorld within the King Claw theming, a ferry departure sign stating Village Road is closed for maintenance. 😂 seen it on Themepark Ogres video, also technical rehearsal signs are within the ride envelope. We could be riding very soon

Yep 100% true, but the difference imo is Movieworld aim/claim to be the best park on the coast, pretty hard when as we all know most rides are closed at any given one time. Unfortunately with the company who now own Village parks, we the public will continue to suffer for their short comings.

😂😂😂 surprised? Movieworld needs to shut down for 6 months and spend some quality time fixing the place maintaining all their rides etc.

Use the old Thunderbolt plot for a WWW expansion with a lazy river and a couple more slide towers. As Wikiverse said, Rocky Hollow needs to be replaced with a new water dark ride, Motorcoaster to be an expansion of Rivertown. The Gold Coaster to be replaced with a custom Flying coaster, imagine weaving in and out of WWW on a flying coaster? Would be an awesome experience.

Can’t wait to see the congestion on the m1 once this is all said and done…

The theming is looking good! Photo taken from Dreamworlds Facebook

Mate I live in Ormeau, I know full well of the terrible traffic, it’s so bad now since when we built 6 years ago

Nah forgot to count them when I was doing 110k on the M1, I’ll try tomorrow

First up in the morning and back by 330, but most days I’m driving past numerous times to different jobs around the area over the last month or so

I drive past both parks twice a day for work, Dreamworlds car park the last month or so has definitely been the busier out of the two, probably helps that the GC weather has been amazing for White water world too

Drive past Movieworld yesterday around midday, only half the car park was full? Dreamworld was overflowing. Couldn’t see if Movieworld had some of the car park closed off but yes was definitely only half full when I drove past.

I think Greg young and the team are not silly to simply retheme Motorcoaster, they know the operations and in general the ride is average. Once funds permit them to do so, a new attraction will replace it.

It’s all the same, fake actors, I know they wanted down to earth people, but it won’t happen. The Gold Coast is full of influencers

King Claw eyes were lit up this morning, looks a little lacklustre, hopefully more to come, eyes colour is a purplish colour.

Supports and slide pieces are currently being installed for the new slide tower, crane has been on site all week.

Credit to MovieWorld for actually acknowledging and explaining the situation, they very rarely do that. Hopefully they don’t pull a Six Flags KingDa Ka moment on us though.

Is AOS still popular? I went when it first opened god knows when and never thought to go back.

Can’t say it won’t happen, but it won’t happen. An IP like Harry Potter requires a tonne of amazing theming, our parks just can’t keep up with that. Just my opinion, but look at OZ, beautiful big plain green walls with amazing prison guard fencing

Only 3 of those were true, No Superman locker refurbishment done, DC Rivals still only 3/4 painted, and Oz, yes only 2 coasters (ones a duelling coaster that doesn’t duel) and as for the immersive theming? Yeah nah

Surely a glitch, no way they would they would do a soft opening?

Yep I think it’s almost a guarantee, maybe they can’t announce yet until 10 Network does for obvious reasons. Spewing was hoping we got a Giga coaster…..

I’m having a mind blank, HWSD2? edit never mind, I forgot how good that show was

Wonder what the new ride is?
