  1. I think the ground overlay was taken from Bing and populated with the data from OSM. I'm pretty sure the bing satellite fell out of the sky shortly after 2014 so they haven't had any updates since.
  2. Imagine the money they are about to make off social distancing fines
  3. To be fair, if this did happen, they would just replace the parts and move on. Unless nothing was fixed or changed then it shouldn't have caused lingering issues after it's rectified.
  4. I think it's more because it was still one of the earlier models and Maurer quickly moved onto the larger more interesting models. That, plus I'm sure DW in the last 10 years have thrown as little money at it as possible.
  5. It did seem odd to retire BRC now. Surely it would have been fine to operate for another few months/year until they have a better timeline for the ABC revamp. It doesn't pull the crowds or RPH that it used to but it was still fairly simple and functional. Unless they planned to pull it around this time anyway (for the refurb) so it was already dead and has been for months, then it's possible that it simply can't function anymore (not as likely but still possible if they stopped ordering parts).
  6. Let's hope future attractions have a bit more care and thought put into them so we don't have another Busszaw situation
  7. But surely they would also get a pass for pushing the date out a week or two as they want to make sure it's safe and by the book after the never before happened, extended closure?
  8. It's almost like they control the website and could push it out to a more realistic date or remove the end date until they have a concrete one...
  9. That's when they accidentally back you into the maintenance bay
  10. If you wanna go in a circuit around animals, may I suggest Vintage Cars?
  11. To be fair, the "adventure river" that was planned had it lined with wildlife and fancy dining options. Something that isn't really viable or wanted by families as it was more like a corporate experience.
  12. DW buying Rainbows End's Corkscrew trains: confirmed
  13. ITT: People who have no idea about LPS, telling LPS how the park should be run like a GC park.
  14. Maybe the downtime is because they have just tried a super extended version of turning it off and on again.
  15. I think 10pm is past his bedtime so he had to take these photos in ultra smudged-lens camera stealth mode so he didn't get grounded and lose his iPhone7
  16. Also if it is now a matter of needing a specific part or specific expertise. That's not happening for a long time until Covid calms down around the world. So even if it's not dead for good, it's gonna remain dead for at least the remainder of this year.
  17. To be fair, the state of that ride seems to change daily
  18. You can afford all those games but not a Parkz subscription or YoutubeRED?
  19. You used to be able to give an answer without throwing in snark but now you're all salty for some reason and there's nothing I can do about that. Have a great week!
  20. Well, it’s not like it’s a new theory... Village have a history of removing or ignoring useful things. But yeah, fuck Village because I apparently can’t say anything without it being assumed Village is being run by Stalin as a Gulag. could have just provided the answer without the snark but I guess I should just expect this from you now.
  21. Probably needed to be replaced and Village did their old trick of just removing it, not seeing any value in it.
