The Rocky Hollow removal rumour has been kicking around since mid last year but it's starting to gain more weight since it's extended downtime and various sources all saying the same thing.

The upside of 2 train operations, the park is finally busy enough to warrant the second train again.

Did they put it on the maintenance page so people will stop asking about it or are they actually taking down the IT maze and putting the dodgems back? I feel like it's going to be the former, knowing Village

The problem is that JL was pretty much a test version built to prove they could do the proper version at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was doomed from the start

It's a class taught to the world on how not to just throw some shit together and call it "world class"

Considering you could out crawl that tractor, the chance of someone not noticing it AND the driver not noticing the patron on the tracks, is super low. I guess we've got to account for every idiot with only 3 brain cells these days

The chain has been replaced twice since that incident. Chains aren't exactly the most expensive in terms of maintenance costs though.

They can't really remove it when the GD station is so high off the ground. You need some way to get people to the loading platform. Not that it's much indication but the pathways are still there in the rendering of the new coaster; albeit nicer looking because the area isn't cluttered with crap.

Word around town is that the IT maze isn't being taken down until after it finishes it 2 year run, next year. I guess it's cheaper and easier to just close dodgems for a year than it is to pull down the IT maze and put it back up.

If they kept that shading for the logo, it wouldn't be so bad. Let's just hope the one on the tower is a sign that they've already realised that just solid blue is pretty terrible.

To be fair, the logo on the tower has shadows and shading whereas the one posted in here is just a solid blue.
