  1. IMO, i don't think it would work, but on the other hand, I was looking at the Intamin website and saw the "Wing Coaster." The stats are pretty good, and I think it would fit perfectly in where the Vikings Revenge is. TECHNICAL DATA Length of track up to 1200 m Max. speed up to 125 km/h Capacity per train up to 32 Hourly capacity up to 1350 pph Total height up to 62 m Another element that distinguishes Intamin’s Wing Coaster from the other winged coasters is its restraint system. Instead of an over-the-shoulder harness, it has only a lap restraint, allowing for upper-body freedom and actually a feeling of flight. Another world class rollercoaster is just what Sea World needs to rake in some more tourism. Unlike the 4-D free spin there is only 1 other ride like this in the world.
  2. Well said, i really liked the first HWSD but i was a bit disappointed that there would be a second one. I think they should change up their shows every 1 or 2 years in that arena.
  3. Anyways, I do really think there needs to be some sort of show again in the WWF area Well worded, I totally agree with you on the parade bit, it's just too repetitive id you visit often, it would be much better if the cars stopped for 5 minutes or so, so people can take photos and interact with the characters. As for the shows side of things, OFCOURSE theyv'e slacked off... I mean they are spending probably over $25 million dollars on this new ride and also the DD that just opened cost them over $15 million. IMO I think the Hollywood stunt driver show has gotten old and it needs to be something totally different, I suggested way up in the forum that there should be some sort of ultra battle show between the DC villains and the heroes. I think that would be good to replace HSD2.
  4. @Brad2912 No, every time I've been there, the characters have stayed on the float. When I was much younger they used to come off of the floats and dance with people and run into the crowd to take photos and stuff. I personally don't see it anymore.
  5. @razza1987 I totally agree! It would be something to spice up the WWF area, Instead of the current pictures of the western country. Heres my idea for a couple of shows: DC Heroes vs Villains: It would be awesome to see a show where the Heroes try and defeat the villains, and just in time because of the new ride. I also think it ties in well because of the recent movies and new movies being launched by DC. (Suicide Squad - Wonder Woman) A western show: This would look pretty nice in the WWF area, IMO, it should be like a shootout or something... but also incorporates the public so its more enjoyable. It would be a great addition to add to the area, liven it up a little bit. IMO, i think the parade at the end of the day has gotten a little boring, they shouldn't just have the characters on the floats... I think they should be allowed to jump down and interact with everyone; be a bit more friendly!
  6. @diesal11 Yes, that may be correct but thats just the way Wet n Wild was designed. They spread out their park whereas WWW has built up. I still don't think they need to expand. As what @themagician and @Brad2912 said, it isn't a full day park so it doesn't need to be massive like WNW
  7. To be honest, i don't think it does need an expantion. Maybe a little one but nothing serious.
  8. @iwerks They seem to get ALOT more funding, they have bigger turnouts (even though its america) with 11 million people visiting a year at their orlando park. Sorry if I was being a bit rude.
  9. @wetiscal but they're doing better than Australia's Sea World.
  10. @Jackson13Walasek Totally agree. although, take a look at America's Sea Worlds... they have many rollercoasters and rides, they seem to be doing great.
  11. @Tim Dasco Very smart theory. I completely agree with you, although the kids land wasn't exactly a small project, it did cost them millions of dollars. But aside from that, i think a thrill rollercoaster is exactly what Sea World needs right now, or atleast a thrill flat ride. My opinion is that the park is lacking popularity from the thrill seeking park goer (for obvious reasons) and SeaWorld are in need of a thrill attraction. If the vikings revenge was removed then it would create a huge space for just about anything! e.g. A few water slides - Rollercoaster - A couple of flat rides.
  12. Sorry, I probably used the wrong word there. I guess Sea World is more aimed at children and families.
  13. The plunge was the water ride removed from the back of the Sea World resort. Used to be at Wet n Wild. I sure hope so.
  14. Geez you have to hope so. VRTP need to focus on SeaWorld a bit more as it is failing and will be a major draw card in the commonwealth games. We don't want people having a bad impression on our parks. If they remove this ride, it may not be good short term but it could open HUGE opportunities in the future, and maybe they might just take that buy one get one free offer from Mack?
  15. Hmm? Oh! I dont know why but everytime i make a topic it creates two
  16. Hello! I decided to make this topic purely because Sea World aren't doing too great at the moment and are in need of some new ideas, SO, share them on here! Personally, i think that they should be focussing on expanding the park and adding new attractions, while removing old ones. Have fun!
  17. to be honest, this ride was grand but old. I think it needs to be pulled down in replace for a new thrill attraction or mid thrill attraction. Just a thought.
  18. Im heading to Movieworld this weekend so ill try and get some photos up. If not, then probably next week. Im super excited!!
  19. Okay, that would be my bet too. Id say they would be doing extensive tests on each ride before the re-open the whole park entirely. I hope it gets a decent turn out on Friday. I might even try and get there
  20. So, im guessing like... the kids area? Maybe 1 or 2 big rides.
  21. Do we know what rides will be open on the memorial-day?
