  1. Just as quickly as VRTP updated their sites, they have changed them back to their original style. Movieworld now says: 'The perfect escape' Wet n Wild says: 'Australia's #1 waterpark' and Seaworld says: 'Amazing Adventures'.
  2. A coaster cannot fit in both the Wipeout and Sidewinder plot - as in between these two rides is all back of house area.
  3. I get that - i'm saying it would be highly unusual for WnW to install another rollercoaster even though they already have one. You'd think their focus would be slides, given their rather lacklustre lineup compared to other parks?
  4. Lo and behold, they managed to sneak the TRR in there again: "The decision, which is expected to be confirmed on Thursday, comes a few years after the October 2016 deaths of four people on the park's Thunder River Rapids Ride, which permanently closed in November that year."
  5. Gotta disagree. While the sets were nice, there was nothing that looked straight out of the movie. The only room which came remotely close to that was the 'scary doors' room. Most animatronics - looked like animatronics (Especially Pennywise coming from the sewer, and Eddie's head popping through the mattress. I agree, the maze was awesome, but it certainly wasn't as good as it could have been.
  6. I believe the red is only on the inside of the turn around sections, so the only visible colours to motorists/guests who aren't riding, will be the different shades of blue, and yellow. Shouldn't look too bad.
  7. I don't think reliability is the only issue. The launch is very janky and needs a good upgrade.
  8. If that was the case it would completely defeat the purpose of the clown head which is outside of the arcade.
  9. Here, i've made it a bit easier for you all: They are locked open. Then, in the first room, I wouldn’t know how that would be set up if the queue reached there. Then, entering the second queue, it snakes around the screen as seen in the above picture. You then get assigned a level.
  10. The concrete was poured i believe two weekends ago. Maybe a boxing day opening?
  11. Speaking of, are they utilising the theatre for anything this year? Seems a bit odd to leave it empty after most other years they've used it.
  12. Absolutely fantastic to see the waterpark in such good condition now. It looks great! I do believe WWW is superior to WnW now - the owners actually seem to care about it.
  13. My mistake, I thought there wasn't any direct access to the dodgems space and you had to enter via the arcade.
  14. Looking almost identical to the 'IT Chapter 2' experience in America. Could they still be adding the rest of the features? Also, does this mean the maze itself will start in the arcade area, and move into the dodgems space?
  15. 'Wipe Out' is making its Australian debut at the Gosford Show this Christmas/NY. Looks awesome!
  16. Contacted them, and this was the response: Looking very unlikely, i'd say.
  17. Speaking of, the waterslides now have a name! An interesting one, for sure..
  18. The concrete slabs for the waterslides are being poured today.
  19. Isn't it supposed to be atlantean themed? It's looking very generic in that video
  20. I believe they already have that flooring. Maybe it's being painted?
  21. The final maze is confirmed to be IT! How exciting! "Be immersed in 17 of the most iconic and frightening scenes from the IT universe, including the Library Scene, Projector Scene and the Well House". 17 scenes! This must be their large(r) maze this year?
  22. It's all well and good to say that they 'treat guests like family', however, that is usually very far from what you experience at the parks, specifically Movie World. Unless something has recently changed, there isn't anything which makes them stand out and make your trip 'unforgettable'.
