So are they training their staff to properly manage shaded areas. That will look good on a resume.....

As much as i'm team HUSS TOP SPIN, this is still hard to see... Soo glad they spent all that money not long ago on new bearings etc.
I'm literally done with that place, it's a never again for me unfortunately, nothing there for me to want to visit, and as much as I didn't rate the Wipeout as a ride, it was incredibly iconic, and fun to watch.. and the sounds from those engines will be missed :-(

If not FunFields then perhaps Adventure Park or even Gumbuya World would be a good fit. It would be nice to see it stay in Australia.
I honestly think it has a lot of life left in it, it just needs the TLC it deserves. Shame LPS aren't giving the Spider any love whatsoever, its a crime to see a Break Dance in that kind of condition, because if anyone here has ridden one in Europe, you'll realise why they really are the most successful machine in Europe, the atmosphere is something i've never EVER experienced on a travelling ride, especially not in Australia.

Well, the only thrill ride there is the ride at LPM, so I don't think that's going to happen because it's basically the ranger but with tighter restraints.
Only thrill ride? Are you forgetting the classic HUSS machine Enterprise? 😋

Still wish it would go to a showman, but its just soo big, and hard to move that nobody wants to take the risk. I think it would do fantastically at a place like Funfields, especially that they have experience with HUSS, so it would fit nicely down here in Victoria. Can only hope, but with Voodoo, it would never happen. Maybe Wittingslow should buy it back, come full circle and bring back an original purchase of theirs from Expo 88

The Luna Park Zierer is indeed March's and the Aussie World one is a model from Europe, complete with a backdrop!
im thinking maybe the MM is OCS Fun? Who knows, they done a good job of ruining that ride too

Agreed KMG belong in the travelling world, even people who work for KMG agree.

Huss Top Spins are incredible, but probably not necessary with the public, not many would realise they're different to the Vekoma rides. In saying that, the 2 that I rode last year in Europe were incredible, and i'm not just saying that because I love Huss.
I know Movie World execs came and looked at the Beast when it debuted at Melbourne Show, but also would be another pointless idea seeing as Claw is down the road.

Can’t say I really agree, there is far too much dead space in the park and could be utilised far better. The Enterprise is just not given proper justice as you cannot stand in front of it properly. Could have been moved over after the Galaxy removal and used that corner curve, giving space either side for other rides. The placement of the new SBF coaster is terrible.
-
Shame they didnt splurge and get a Zierer....
will still look good in the area if it goes up there

@Jobe Glad the kids enjoyed the Enterprise... Can't really go past classic HUSS, agree about it needing some TLC, it was down for a while, while they waited for parts from HUSS, but glad its back up and running, it just needs better lighting on the sweeps, the middle cover and better placement in the park... it just seems like such an afterthought in its position.

Had the opportunity to visit in July, amazing theme park!

The quality of build and parts just aren't up to the standard of manufacturers like Fabbri, KMG, Huss etc.
Being around these manufacturers, you can see the difference in build standards, parts used, electrics etc.

Compare a Funtime Sky Flyer to a Czech one.... even compare them to a Zamperla flyer.
The ultimate machines are the Funtime models, rode Jules Verne Tower this year and it was INCREDIBLE! 80m travelling model.
-
Should i mention now or later that its from the Czech Republic..... not something us travelling fans enjoy seeing
-
Oh well, who knows it might head back to the showgrounds in a few years... you never know

I wouldn't exactly say cheap.... KMG Rides aren't SBF
-
I mean they could have, but these parks don’t have the budgets to invest in such large and costly attractions. The ride will do well at Gumbuya, the public will enjoy it. So it’s a win for the park and bring in some more money for future attractions.
-
And that’s not the parks fault as such, KMG have never produced a park version of the Inversion. Even their XXL park models still look like transportable pieces.

Looks like they just plonked it down in a free space, and stuck 'Gumbuya World' logos all over the ride 😕. Lazy and tacky. Certainly makes Gumbuya World look more like the melbourne show, than an up and coming theme park. Great ride, sad that it won't be on the travelling circuit for the foreseeable future.
don't worry you've always got XXXL.... and the Beast

There is an option in place for Sky Flyer to maybe become permanent... but who knows what will happen in regards to that
