  1. To be fair they sold out of fast track very early on in the day and from what I could see there weren’t that many of them. Honestly today was a absolutely terrible I genuinely couldn’t believe that with how long the lines where they only ran 1 train. DCR had hit 105 mins. We only got in 4 rides and saw stunt driver and three of those where with virtual queue we were there from 9:45 till closing so we had the whole day. Also the virtual queue ratios were not managed very well with the grouper often filling whole trains on superman with them which if running efficiently isn’t the end of the world but with 5 minute dispatch’s there where points where the regular line didn’t move for about 10 minutes and that line stretched to the Arkham courtyard with a lot of people in the sun. I heard a lot of either guests getting frustrated and complaining to each other so they also have that to work out. Scooby and Rivals weren’t to bad with that though.
  2. Ohh that’s cool I always thought the top held some sort of equipment. Either way the seats haven’t even been installed yet.
  3. Batwing definitely won’t open tomorrow the top is still missing and the vinal hasn’t been put back yet. Also Doomsday has been testing a lot. It would be great if they would update the website.
  4. I thought I’d create this topic to discuss our parks. I’m currently at MovieWorld and it is very busy which is great for the park. My issue though is that rides such as Superman and Rivals are running only one train. On a quite day it would be fine but today both have an 80 minute wait time. Even with one train the dispatch’s are so slow with me timing an average of 5 minutes between each one. It also doesn’t help that a big chuck of the lines are completely outside with no shade. This was also the same case with storm yesterday dispatches were so slow and we waited about 40 minutes in the full sun and the line wasn’t really that long. It’s great to see the parks so busy but they really need to improve their operations.
  5. SeaWorld has posted another update. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CI7YykhnzEJ/?igshid It looks absolutely stunning.
  6. I totally agree with @GoGoBoy. It literal gave me goosebumps I think it accomplishes everything it needs too. It’s exciting and shows all the info it needs. I forwarded to my friend who’s aren’t into SeaWorld and it hyped them up so much. They are now excited to visit once it’s all open. I do get what your saying @rappa but I think it’s great.
  7. I have mixed feelings about these designs specifically the Ultra Splash and Hot Racers. They have changed them slightly but for the most part are the exact same thing. I feel like Intamin is known for being a super innovative company and these are kinda pathetic/lazy coming from them. Either way I’d be interested in seeing these built and how they compare to there counter parts. Also I think the Giga splash would be a great fit for dreamworld.
  8. Wow this is giving me a lot of hope of what else is to come.
  9. WDW plans to begin reopening the rest of the resort on July 11 including the parks, resort's and transportation.
  10. It has been confirmed that WDW is submitting their opening plans tomorrow.
  11. I know that I mainly suggested Funtime since they would probably be way cheaper. No not that one. I may be wrong but I read that the one at gröna lund was built by Funtime.
  12. I think a BnM flyer would be way out of budget but I could definetly see a Vekoma flyer if F.L.Y is successful.
  13. The last major park that doesn’t have a drop tower style ride is SW. I think in the future it would be a great fit to add a falcons fury style drop tower. It would round out the Gold Coast lineup of towers great with a launched one being batwing a regular drop being GD and a tilted one being this one. I think Funtime makes a version of it as will. It would be a lot cheaper then intamin and make a lot of sense since it seems like they are working together for trident.
  14. This has been approved and confirmed by Universal so they will be opening during those dates. It has also been confirmed by the Orange County mayor that WDW will submit their opening plans sometimes next week.
  15. The rip isn’t going anywhere anytime soon it just got a full repaint and if there was a problem with a pump or something it’s not that big of a deal to change out. I think the next attraction WWW will and should definitely be some sort of river attraction. I definitely think an action river would be the better option as to differentiate it from WNW’s river and it is definitely more fun but I could see them go for a relaxed lazy river to be more suitable for the little ones. As for slides I definitely think a family mammoth would be a pretty good idea or even a hydromagnetic mammoth from pro-slide if they wanted to go all out. Since they have worked with polin they might explore some of their other slides as they have some very interesting concepts. I can also see them looking at the launched water slide it would definitely generate a lot of buzz. Originally I thought they could go for a waterwheel but I’m not to sure I think that would be more suited to Wet’n’Wild. I can also see them expand the Wiggle Bay Area in the future. The thing is with water slides is there are so many different types and combinations and they aren’t to expensive so it’ll be interesting to see where they go next.
  16. Definitely create a new topic for it. I think that’s a very interesting question that deserves its own thread.
  17. As for a replacement this idea wouldn’t just be the log ride but for that whole corner of the park. Yes I do know this is way out of budget and will probably never happen but how cool would it be if dreamworld built an indoor land back there. Since it’s a fully controlled environment you could do any theme you want. I would do a jungle theme they could put in an indoor boat ride to replace RHLR the story could be your on some kind of expedition and you are travelling down a river with the climax being going over a waterfall. This idea would also work outdoors but with the Queensland weather and landscape it would be hard to be convinced that you are in a jungle. Also in this land they could also put in an indoor roller coaster it could be either thrill or family, make it we’ll themed and if done right it could rival SDSC especially in the state the ghost train section is in now. Lastly for the kids they can add a large themed play structure which kinda surprisingly Dreamworld and Movieworld both lack it would’t be to expensive and the kids would love it. So now you would have something to occupy the kids with the play structure a great family ride with the river expedition and a thrill ride for the people seeking a more intense experience with the coaster. If they wanted too they could always throw in a few small flats to pad out the area. This could also be done with like a magical garden type theme but I think that would mainly cater to kids whereas the jungle theme would be more attractive to everyone.
  18. I don’t know how hard this would be but I think it would be really cool if they could relocate some of those amazing looking large palm trees around the park maybe in ocean parade or find space for them around Main Street. It would look really nice and provide some decent shade.
  19. Actually that is just how Gravity Group designs most of their coasters with one huge slab of concrete. Why this is the case I couldn’t tell you exactly but you can see this with all their other coasters. My guess is it is just easier to do it with one slab as a wooden coaster needs way more footings in the ground than a steel coaster. None of this are my photos I got them all from RCDB. For example here is a pic of Mine Blower at Fun Spot and Oscar’s Wacky Taxi from Sesame Places’ construction both by the same manufacturer. I also included Kentucky flyer from Kentucky kingdom to show the final product.
  20. I don’t think they should get a water coaster in that form as it’s very similar to storm unless they give it really elaborate and unique theme.
  21. Definitely great they are redoing the flooring last time we were there it was full of holes, the colours had been washed out and it was really rough it was actually a bit uncomfortable to walk on.
  22. That’s probably because of the 77kg weight limit which means a lot of people can’t ride it. I personally haven’t been able to ride since I was 14-15 I don’t remember exactly but I ride Gingy’s with no problem.
  23. I have skimmed through a couple time but haven’t got a chance to read through the whole thing property. I started following on here part way through construction of rivals I was new to all this and I was much younger and probably didn’t understand much of what I was read. But I’ll take you suggestion and go back for a read.
  24. Haha thanks for the hospitality. 😂 For real though thanks for sharing that @Skeeta I had no idea how it worked. That’s are really good way of organise things (duh). Also when you say DCR had 193 k sections do you mean full supports or support pieces.
