I think @pin142you are referring to RMC hybrid coasters which are built with their ibox track, these rides are nither classified as wood or steel coasters, they are built with a wooden supports and steel track. With this track they have been able to make amazing roller coaster such as my favourite roller coaster and only RMC I have ridden twisted colossus another noticeable one being steel vengeance. If we got one of these it would be amazing as they are amazing ride with strong layouts and cool elements. RMC also have a different type of track that from memory is called a topper track @Jamberoo Fan which is made of wood and is capable of doing different elements that the hybrids can do. This track enables wooden rollecoasters to be able to do things that have never been done before an example of this type of track is Outlaw run at silver dollar city or wildfire at Kolmården Wildlife Park. These rides are still classified as wooden roller coasters even though they may contain a little bit of steel. All of RMC rides are silky smooth great intense rides, with cool elements and loads of both ejected and floater airtime I hope we do see one of these in Australia and I think it would be a very good addition to SeaWorld because no doubt it would be the amazing kick butt roller coaster they need.

Well @thunder001 it seems like it is for the previously rummered lazy river for WWW, but nothing has been officially announced as of yet.

That’s great news. Hopefully this continues and all the slides get repainted and cleaned up.

By the looks of it I am pretty sure that is just a wrap to cover and protect the building.

I just do not understand alot of their rides are already closed anyway. One can’t they just operate the very few rides they have open consistently and correctly. MW don’t do this even when it’s dead I went on DD 9 times in a row being the only person on it. Take note Dreamworld!!

I think it’s great that they are giving an opportunity for people who don’t have passes to see the exhibition.

I know I am being (really really) optimistic here but I think if these plans do come into fruition and they do build a decent dark ride and a nice new slide tower with couple slides on it, I think they will be back on track. Then they would have to build a decent roller coaster with some sort of appropriate theming and seeing they are supposedly spending 15 million on the I ride I think it will be possible for them to build a new exciting coaster with a similar budget. Again I know this is me being optimistic and this is more what I hope happens then what will probably happen.

Wasn’t sure if I should create a new topic for this but Warner Bros Abu Dhabi is opening on the 25th of July.

It really scares me that it only says mapping projection, mist and sound and no mention of anything physical. I would assume that since they were specific by including mist in the description that they would have included mention of any physical sets, props or animatronics if they were being used since those types of things are a big deal and very expensive. I really hope they still use real sets and they just haven’t mentioned i think it will take away from the character of the ride, not that it will not be good either way I mean I can’t judge it until is finished but here’s hoping.

Well there is a simple answer to that the first year it was new and exciting and everyone wanted to go and try it out. But since they opened in 2013 they have not added any new slides or major attractions so people have lost interest. For example my family have only had a season pass once and the park was very unorganised and there were not enough slides to accomodate the amount of people going so we then decided that we would not by a pass again until they put in new slides and expanded but they haven’t so since then we have not went to the park this is also the case with many other people I know. I know many people who would by passes if they opened new slides and invested into the park. If this company choses to do so then I really believe the park can be successful.

All the slides in WWW need a repaint desperately they all look disgusting and have been that way for a while.

I was just looking at Gumbuya Worlds website and saw that they have redone it to include photos and information on each individual attraction and noticed that on one of the pictures on the Oasis springs page said this. Any thoughts and what at do you guys think the slide should?

I definitely agree and would much rather it keep the theme of the original as it is one of my favourite movies. What I mean is could some people expect a different story line because of the addition to the name.

Just a thought maybe I am overthinking it but from what I understand the new theming on SDSC is following the same theme of the first movie and the New Generation is just referring to the rides theming being redone. My concern is that could people possibly think that the addition of new generation to the name think that the ride will have a different more modern version/storyline of Scooby-doo and be disappointed that it still has the theme of the original movie. I think that either way the new theming will be amazing but could be people feel mislead by the name.

Mabye if it does eventually go could they possibly build a dark ride in that space.

I hope they still use some practical sets and not just screens and projections otherwise pretty positive stuff. 1 million dollars seems like a pretty good budget and hopefully they use it well. Not really excited for the addition of next generation to the name but will probably not matter much.

I just don’t understand why they can not tell us what is going on with Mach 5. It is not that hard to say we are replacing the slides or there was a structural problem. At least dreamworld could tell us what happening with their rides.
