  1. I wonder if those families complained to management because the website didn't state that this was a mature event, is it just me or every parent these days have to start a lawsuit
  2. Apparently NBCUniversal acquired the TV and digital rights to the Harry Potter franchise last year https://www.theverge.com/2016/8/8/12401504/nbcu-harry-potter-fantastic-beasts-warner-bros-cable-deal
  3. I was more thinking of in the rare case that a theme park is constructed in the next few years when either Dreamworld or Movieworld still have these licenses, but I can see what you mean. Does anyone know what happened to the Harry Potter License that VRTP had
  4. IPs would also have to be taken into consideration if a new theme park were to open, take for example Six Flags, if they were to build a park they wouldn't probably have too many rides based off Time Warner properties due to VRTP's license with DC/Looney Tunes/Scooby-Doo. I am uncertain about VRTP and Harry Potter if Universal were to build a park here with a Wizarding World area, same thing with Dreamworld's contract with Dreamworks Animation as Universal bought the animation studio last year and that Universal already have a few Dreamworks based attractions.
  5. Not a bad idea, a safety video in a similar style to Fear Fall at Islands of Adventure could also work in the main queue
  6. Wow, lucky no one was injured or killed on the ride. I think KMG should do a touch up on this thing with the harnesses so that an event like this doesn't happen. But knowing People these days they would immediately sue the owners over a simple technical fault on a ride. Though either age or attendants could have been a factor
  7. I don't think modern day kids like the sound of the 90s and would perfer modern EDM
  8. The Purge or Fear The Walking Dead maybe
  9. I thinks the mazes would be in the following locations if the dodgems are not being used The two sheds built last year Show stage Maybe Scooby-Doo queue
  10. Also fitting with the release of Jigsaw in October, would have liked to seen a Resident Evil 7 maze but I think that saw is good for a maze as they have done it two times in a row
  11. Movieworld does some good stuff with their fright nights decorating and theming despite a somewhat small budget (what would be their annual fright nights budget?)
  12. I know, all I was saying was that last time I was there that effect wasn't working
  13. Weird, last time I rode SE the water effect wasn't working (That was in 2014 though)
  14. Very True with that, I just wanted to dream, would a eurofighter be good for dreamworld
  15. He was just pissed because the topic of a B&M coaster at Dreamworld has been done one million times
  16. Ah, only really new at this Dreamworld needs a B&M, I just thought Dreamworld needed a big ride to combat DC Rivals. so cross out the B&M and replace it with a eurofighter to combat green lantern's steepness
  17. I don't know what I am doing wrong, is it a problem to be a new member at this community
  18. I doubt anything will happen due to Dreamworld and Ardent Leisure being in damage control and the amount of money they have probably lost after TRR incident but would a brand new attraction hurt dreamworld at all? If they were to build a new thrill ride I would like to see a B&M dive coaster (unlikely due to B&M's disney like prices) and put it in ocean parade (behind whitewaterworld and tiger island which would ruin the ambience) or blue lagoon . Since Ariadne said that family rides would be good for the park i think that a spinning mouse or a funtime starflyer would be good since they can provide some mild-moderate thrills. At whitewaterworld I would like to see either a proslide tornadowave or a whitewater west anaconda Again these are just ideas I thought of
  19. This was even worse than my Palestinian carousel <insert terrorist joke from family guy here> jokes aside I'm glad it was only a minor outcome
