Everything posted by Rivals

  1. i posted about it being closed for a couple days (it ended up being 3) which was due to it having maintenance issues. it didn’t close for a seperate maintenance period it was just having some issues.
  2. Sea World have uploaded two new posts on their instagram stories of BTS footage of both Trident and Leviathan. Both can be found here and here.
  3. from what i remember it didn’t close until it needed the track replacement on the first airtime hill.
  4. ST and Rival's didn’t close shortly after opening?
  5. The big statue out the front of Trident looks like one of the last pieces of theming to go up, with fencing and everything else going to be finished fast with just staff training left, i’d say late november / early december (around the 3rd) will be the beginning of the opening process.
  6. it’s even sadder that i actually thought it was 2023 when i typed that💀
  7. When one event ends, another one is just around the corner. A new sign for this years event has been now put up, im guessing the trees construction will be starting any day now. An insta story teasing this year’s parade has now been posted here. They are saying this years event will host the parks biggest parade ever. The website hasn’t been updated yet but when you look at the One Pass Inclusions, it appears the tickets will be priced at $79, as far as im aware this is a very large jump from previous ticket prices.
  8. (wasn’t show which topic to post this under) however, the walls around the stage in the Kids WB Section are now down and the eyesore red that made up the base section of the stage has now been replaced with a stone textured base. a major improvement to what it once was.
  9. When you look at the list of closed rides, a lot of them were old, unreliable or had low ridership. TOT2, Buzzsaw, Wipeout were all very unreliable with Buzzsaw also suffering from low ridership. Flowrider made no sense were it was and v8 Supercars had very little traction, same with RHLR after the TRR accident. The Cinema and TRR have already been replaced with big, reliable attractions. I’d much prefer quality over quantity attractions.
  10. a retheme of MDMC to Jungle Rush does makes sense, they just dropped the Mc Doohan licensing and it would give the Dreamland area even more space to work with and add new rides. Have the entrance to the area be just past the train crossing (on current ABC kids area side), tear down the building across from the MDMC entrance and add a flat, build a mini coaster where the kids maze is, and a dark ride in the Big Red Car building.
  11. sorry yes i meant to showcase, i must’ve gotten confused because i had to google the ride i was referencing as i forgot the name💀
  12. I’d love for the park to get a ride similar to the Studio Tour at Movie Park Germany, possibly replacing the current studio tour? I mean the studio tour is cool, but is it needed… i don’t really know.
  13. Kenny and Belinda’s Dreamland i could definitely see replacing ABC Kids, but i'm very curious as to Jungle Rush would be for. Would it be for a new ride or new area?
  14. Adding fire effects into a ride that’s already had a fire (wether it was the effects or not we’ll never know) doesn’t sound like the smartest idea. If you wanted to add something, adding smoke effects bursting out with orange lights would work fine enough.
  15. There were two different dates due to Tridents construction originally having some issues causing it to be delayed. I know they are planning on opening them at the same time and they will be unless one of the rides end up being delayed for technical issues.
  16. it’s a private event not a ride launch, Leviathan is probably only open as it’s a “Monster Christmas”, hence why it says (sea monster) next to the rides name. They’ve been planning to open both at the same time, so when one opens to the public they’ll both open.
  17. Both Trident and Leviathan will be opening at the same time, if Leviathan will be ready by the 3rd of December for a private Christmas event then so will Trident. Unless Leviathan is ready earlier then Trident and the area ends up opening around the end of the month to accomodate this, both would be ready by the 3rd.
  18. Looks like Leviathan and Trident will be opening around the 3rd of December.
  19. I’d love for this to be the case however i don’t think they have enough room for a big new world class coaster without removing a ride, unless there’s space im unaware of? The only room i could think of is for a WoO expansion for a couple flats in a couple years time.
  20. They have added little things here and there such as the Studio Showcase but it’ll be the biggest gap between coasters only by one year. The gap between Superman and Green Lantern 6 years, same with the Gap between GL and Rivals. With the 6-7 year gap logic (if stuck to it) we might not see the next “big” coaster at the park until around 2030 / 2031🥲
  21. Both rides have now been officially announced on instagram with a series of post, which make up a bigger photo showcasing the slogan #prepare4thescare.
  22. I wouldn’t say it’s fair to compare this event to Fright Nights as it’s two different target audiences, instead it’s more comparable to Spooky Nights. Happy Halloween seems to be better value and better event overall, as there’s a lot more stuff to do, longer hours, while also being at a cheaper cost. They’ve also updated / changed things this year whereas Spooky Nights was pretty much the exact same.
  23. Statues that make up the rides entrance have now been installed, this looks a letter better then i was expecting. source; Bikash
