  1. perhaps they could be redoing the Queue line and removing the spaghetti section around the ride finally? one can hope
  2. Due to SV having a short maintenance date, i don’t exactly know how long it takes to finalise a new ride experience but imo i doubt we’ll be seeing a new experience coming to the ride next year
  3. it appears Surfrider has finally reopened, has anyone been down to the park that can confirm this?
  4. I wonder if these rides are actually having issues or if they have been closed possibly due to trident being installed as they are both in close proximity to the ride site?
  5. Scooby Doo has now joined Doomsday, the crowds today are sure going to be happy
  6. my staff member friends rave about working there and how much they love the work environment, so no clue where you’ll be hearing that from. you’ll probably find the people who are saying they’re treated bad are the ones that are rude to their fellow co-workers and management, i know there is a couple of them
  7. not that surprising Doomsday is the first Unexpected Maintenance closure of the year
  8. they would know who’s pass is who’s because on their scanners it comes up with the photo of who’s pass was just scanned
  9. When does everyone think Leviathan will have to start testing by for it to actually open in Easter? Also does anyone have any news regarding if trident has started vertical construction yet?
  10. Sea Worlds 2022 Maintenance schedule has finally been uploaded, and next year there is some welcome changes to the usual maintenance schedule: - most welcomed change, Storm Coaster has been changed to a winter maintenance schedule. - all rides in close proximity to the New Atlantis construction side have normal maintenance periods, hopefully meaning work will start being finalised soon. - Except for the Polar Bear shores, none of the other Animal Enclosures have been uploaded, guessing they have not been finalised yet
  11. i would love to see them redo that entire area, put in the new worlds tallest drop ride, as well as a new roller coaster (RMC single rail or mack power splash) in the old RHLR area and a pathway connecting Steel Taipan to this new area, then allow the theme / aesthetic from the steel taipan area to flow down into this two new attractions and created some sort of themed / styled area. imo that would be a really cool and welcomed addition to the park
  12. yeah TOT was more iconic but, we all knew that was on the Chopping block once management said they were going to be removing older and unreliable attractions, but the tower itself is iconic. imo whatever attraction was the last one standing, will be around for a long time
  13. the day it happens they will definitely replace or upgrade the tower to a falcon’s fury type of ride. The ride is too iconic for them to let it leave that easily
  14. reached out to a staff member and can confirm this is false.
  15. it was open but there sadly wasn’t any Tasmanian devils in there (i didn’t even know the nocturnal house existed so to me it appeared to all be open) Speaking on the corroboree, it appears they have changed the name to Native Wildlife, yesterday i did notice some signs saying native wildlife but i didn’t think anything of it till i checked the website https://www.dreamworld.com.au/rides-attractions/wildlife/native-wildlife/
  16. By using it for an event i mean like placing stuff in their such as food options or other activities based around the theme of the event (example; moving barnyard buddies into the old buzzsaw queue space or a new food area opened for special events such as old trolls precinct) From what i know it isn’t locked into place yet but they see use in the building as it’s in great condition and don’t see the point of removing it as of now
  17. The park as a whole had an overall amazing vibe today, the only negative was getting off Taipan and hearing a group of Gp’s saying they prefer the Gold Coaster🥲
  18. the line was filled up most of the day but due to how fast they were getting the trains out (by the time the second train stopped on the breaks the other one was going) it ended up being 15-20. looked a longer then it actually was which was a good thing. by the end of the day it was walk on really with still 2 train operations.
  19. shockwave had a couple of breakdowns same with one on tailspin but everything else was running as normal. The park was very busy with a nearly 30min wait just to get food and all the lines full (gold coaster being half way down the spiral one point today.) a couple takeaways from today: - little parts of Escape From Madagascar seem to be repainted, hopefully a full repaint soon - heard from a staff member MDMC has or will be getting a second train again, was unable to go on today to confirm. - heard from same staff member Buzzsaw’s building will be staying for the long term future as it is in good condition and will be used for events in the future. - Claw was having some issues locking back into place after some of the cycles but was easily fixed with the gondola just slightly moving. - rest of the Corroboree area has been reopened
  20. Gold Coaster and Giant Drop have been closing due to high wind for ages (i know Gold Coaster has been since its Cyclone days) and i have witnessed all the other ones besides MDMC go down for wind.
  21. the difference is dreamworld has been going downhill for years and is finally improving at a rapid pace, whereas movie world is now starting to go down hill
  22. dreamworld did use to be open 9am-9pm in the summer holidays, besides that i think that’s the latest any of the gc parks have stayed open (excluding night events like fright nights)
  23. it did reopen yesterday but while i was in line it did breakdown for a little bit so who knows how long it’s going to be open for this time
