  1. The announcement being family focused does make sense with their current timeline, with SV in 2019, ST 2021, and now this project taking over 2023/2024. Once this project is completed, i believe then we will see a new thrill coaster being added alongside a waterslide tower at the parks, which i’d say be around 2026-2027. As for MDMC, i can only see it getting refurbished, unless Jungle Rush opening decreases it’s popularity as it is still a popular family ride.
  2. It’s the exact same ride just quieter, the only people who’ll notice is people who love cars. I mean i’ve never even heard of “model t ford” (i have no idea if that’s the correct name or not so don’t bash me) and i don’t think the average guest would be going to go see a ride with model t ford parts, so what the purpose of up keeping it if you can get a cheaper to maintain, more reliable option of the same attractions.
  3. there more lenient towards captivity alone with good care then they are with captivity and forcing the animals to do routine shows which causes them stress. It’s just how society works now and they’re adapting to the times.
  4. Tridents ride signage has now been i staled, on top of this we get to see how some of the rest of the area will look at night. 1 week left till opening, who thought it would actually get this close. Credit: Bikash Instagram
  5. I mean, Tiger shows caused backlash due to society thinking it’s inhumane to make the animals do that, so getting rid of that element while keeping the animals in hopefully a more interactive exhibit really is a smart move if you really think about it.
  6. the mountain for Leviathan was just meant for visual appeal, whereas the mountain on Jungle Rush is apart of the actual ride design and appearance. I think with how important this will be for Dreamworld they’ll deliver what they have promised.
  7. I’m glad it seems Dreamworld is finally back in the competition now, even adding a Splash-pad is a smart move as i feel a full blown water ride would be a bit risky with the public. I will say personally i prefer this over WoO announcement, especially since Jungle Rush isn’t a copy and paste clone and seems very cool and unique. The only thing i wish was that MDMC was being rethemed to fit in more, but besides that i can’t wait for all of these projects to be open by the end of 2024.
  8. it’s being added behind the dreamworld globe, infront of Sky Voyager by the looks of it
  9. a temporary circus event would cost $50m. Im very interested as to how the wave swinger will look at the entrance, never thought of adding a ride there.
  10. Well, for final predictions i’ll say the announcement will cover: - Dreamwork’s Retheme with new rides (such as a Zamperla Nebulaz replacing Gingy’s Glider.) - Christmas Circus event - New Family Thrill ride in RHLR plot of land (using the Jungle Rush name.) - Possible parkwide ride refurbs (Motorcoaster repaint, new Claw and Giant Drop Gondola’s ect.)
  11. Advertising for Leviathan Backwards seats has now started on their social media platforms, shown here.
  12. If something appears as closed out of no where it means it’s having issues and can not open therefor causing unplanned maintenance, even most GP know it means it is having issues. I don’t think it’s as simple as get one off and continue the ride. it would cause staff stress as they’d think something is actually wrong, they’d then have to restart the entire ride which includes having to recheck everyone’s seatbelts (which already takes minutes) and make the people waiting in line have to wait even longer due to a delayed cycle, while annoying the people that are already on the ride. For disrupting something like that because you were bored and causing those issues you should be kicked from the park.
  13. it’s almost like rides have break downs that can’t be resolved immediately, if it was planned it wouldn’t have just popped up on the day.
  14. They’ve finally started remember that Trident is also opening as this was posted on their social media
  15. I will say i find it a bit shocking Taipan’s tail whip is cheaper then both Rivals and Leviathans backwards costs. Tailwhips price is priced due to upkeep (Icon at Blackpool is the same price to further prove that point), but i can’t see backwards seats being that hard to maintain? Backwards seats also provide the same experience every time whereas Tailwhip doesn’t, so i really don’t see the value or explanation as to why they are so high, especially when Rivals started at $10.
  16. $30 per person? considering reviews for wooden coasters with backwards seats has been nothing but poor, that can’t be worth it if it’s the same as those other rides.
  17. seems like he’s seen past lawsuits and is twisting the story here and there to make it beneficial for him. Unlucky for him the parks actually denying his claims and don’t seem like they’ll give in easy.
  18. For him to fall out of the tube; he wouldn’t have been holding on like they tell you to do. Also, if it was over a year ago why’s it only being brought up now? again, im not really understanding or getting any credibility out of this lawsuit. If he wasn’t holding on and fell out he’s at fault isn’t he?
  19. and create a giant dead end? it is what it is, maybe they’ll do something to make it a more thought out transition into the area.
  20. Village still seem to have a relationship with Intamin, so i think they’d just go back with them to retrofit the launch when it comes time. along with that, i’d love if they replaced the trains at the same time to either the soft straps, or the new gen intamin trains (velocicoaster, taron, ect.)
  21. Since the ride is supposedly moving to another park and that’s the only area they’ve removed from the ride (completely out of no where too), i wouldn’t be shocked.
  22. Having rock work to make up the entry instead of the grace (like the TVC) really would look so much better and fit in so much more.
  23. I won’t lie, when i saw “thrills are coming” on my instagram feed i quite literally thought MovieWorld were announcing a big new thrill ride. the caption was so heartbreaking to read
