  1. WWF is the most themed ride on the gold coast, maybe even Australia, i don’t think it’s worth removing that (and such a great overall family attraction) for a ride that’ll probably have very minimal theming and people will always say how they want WWF back
  2. i knew the operations were bad however, 4-5 minute dispatches for rivals is ridiculous, i wonder if guests putting their own seatbelts in when they aren’t suppose to could have something to do with this time? on a positive note, the new ride closure signs look a lot better then the Superhero signs.
  3. it looks like work for Leviathan’s is speeding up which is hopefully a good sign to it opening in easter or at-least, this year. https://instagram.com/stories/tainan.martins/2768072947053967524?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&utm_medium=copy_link
  4. the actually wait time for the ride has practically doubled since there is only around 6 boats (from what i’ve heard), the front row on all boats isn’t active and the ride no longer has the moving station
  5. * from snapchat snap map stories * Backwards DCR seems to be operating again, shame they were able to get it open and most other seats operating after the school holidays ended
  6. It appears WWF has reopened so the issue revolving the front seats not being available (unless it was a quick fix) most likely hasn’t been resolved, but one of the trains for GreenLantern are still stuck at the bottom of the lift so i won’t be surprised if it’s down for a while
  7. either very early in the easter holidays with soft opening starting the week prior (if they chose to do them) or pushed back again imo
  8. im pretty sure one of the reasons they are extremely risk adverse now is because, you know, a literal wheel flew off GreenLantern? village isn’t perfect, that’s for sure and yeah, a faded sign has nothing to do with guest safety however, why are they unable to maintain high levels of guest safety while also maintaining the park as a whole and little things in the park like a ride sign? if they don’t be careful the parks going to end up looking like a Six Flags Park before they started refreshing most of them….
  9. Speaking on the new boats for Wild West, i really wish they could’ve found a way to continue having the moving station. This use to be the ride even when it’s busy and had a long line, it didn’t feel long due to the line always moving, but now with the boats stopping in the station and the front row out of action, it moves incredibly slow which is such a shame to see
  10. If White Christmas and Spooky Nights were selling out every night at a rapid pace, and carnival isn’t, that’s not something to blame on covid, it’s obviously lack of interest within the public. This is obvious when looking at how well White Christmas (which was only a month ago) went and how fast the tickets sold, the last nights of the event also had the exact same covid restrictions we have now, so that definitely would’ve effected the final nights of the events which it didn’t
  11. we need to stop using this as an excuse, both Spooky Nights and White Christmas sold out fast and i can’t remember about Spooky Nights but White Christmas sold out every ticketed night
  12. @dw_goldenyears on instagram posted an overall park update on their website and it can be seen that the switch track is installed towards Madagascar and the old TOT2 building. link if photo isn’t loading (https://dwgoldenyears.wixsite.com/dwgoldenyears/post/dreamworld-mini-update-26-1-2022)
  13. both trains are new trains and the ride is able to go faster then it use to go as the trains are lighter compared to the older ones, and the actual seating of the ride is different hence why some people that use to be able to fit into the restraint no longer can not fit
  14. people sit on that path either ways so it’s better to just add actual seating
  15. looks like the answer is it only lasted for 2 days 😕
  16. all rides have reopened at the park, let’s hope they are able to keep it like this
  17. According to TPSN’s recent insta post (linked below), MDMC’s speed has been increased the new trains, anyone know if this is in fact true? https://www.instagram.com/tv/CYvSOYEJgZr/?utm_medium=copy_link also with MDMC’s new trains, the ride does somehow feel a lot less uncomfortable it feels like the harness isn’t sitting as tight on your legs which actually improves the ride experience dramatically
  18. looking at these photos as well, the monorail definelty needs a repaint, it’s a shame it’s been closed for so long and probably no work has been done on it such as repainting or adding air conditioning to the monorails 😕
  19. on @OurWorldsco new instagram post, there is plenty of progress going on with Leviathan and Trident, - in the background, it appears the foundation for Trident has been completed with vertical construction hopefully taking place soon - With Leviathan, the station building itself has gone up (hopefully it gets themed as it just looks like a big white tin shed) and the shading in the queue has gone up (my apologises, it is around 80% completed) let’s hope the work speed picking up actually means these rides will be opening this Easter https://www.instagram.com/ourworldsco/p/CYq0wz7viJE
  20. batwing has been closed for a couple days too but good to see it’s back open now
  21. i know for a fact my school let go of a lot of teachers last year however it seems they’ve been able to replace them all pretty quickly, so i’m guessing this number is a bit inflated
  22. it’s creative, interesting and good marketing placed in the middle of a busy city which is a smart advertising strategy, no need to be negative all the time
  23. both parks were equally busy hence why it went into the overflow carpark, pretty sure that’s the year i remember BuzzSaw even having a long line
  24. i have only seen this once which was at MDMC but everyone was needed to try the test seat out prior to being let into the actual queue of the ride
  25. with the MDMC trains, i'm pretty sure both trains have been replaced as sometimes a staff member is out front checking rides can fit into the seats, and both trains look new and refreshed so i’m guessing the new trains have a tighter fit then the older trains hence why some people can no longer fit
