It certainly gives a strong leg up to DW this holiday period. Room occupancy is looking strong so far for the holiday period on the coast, and thats currently based purely on regional/state based travel, and will be further buoyed if some level of interstate travel gets the tick. It is super disappointing thought, especially in Leviathan's case, given from the outside looking in to the average punter, the ride looks basically completed and has done for a quite some time, and little to no visible work is being done on it. To hear it will be another 6 months + months away isnt great....

Definitely need to head to park earlier than start as I have learnt at previous events. I crossed the bridge at 5:15 and was in the park by 5:30 and that was after parking across the road and walking over. I Never park in the actually SW carpark, takes forever to get out too. anyone parking across the road take note however ,some plovers have nested on that roundabout - they like to swoop as we found out haha I thought the covid protocols were as good as can be expected really in that type of environment. Well actually, that is exactly what it is. because if I jump on the scales, showing everyone around that I’m too heavy, am I really going to get into the queue and then when I get to the front say “oh hey, you’ll need to put some skinny people on the ride with me because I’m over your limit” or “hey we’ll have to ride with 5 on this cycle”. It’s pathetic operations, and any business that has the ethos of “we’ll be just fine losing a few customers” is on a slippery slope to oblivion.

I’d like to know if season passholders we given a heads up about this when purchasing/renewing, or if they are entitled to a “sorry I’m too fat for your theme park” refund?

I’m not even sure why they haven’t bothered to remove the downstairs sorter and releaser, it’s a total waste of a staff member

I also noticed yesterday on The Rip they weren’t even allowed the next group to even load into the raft/tube until the prior raft had already been cleared. Last season (and all years prior) you would load whilst the previous cycle was underway, so as soon as they had existed the Op would release you. Also The Wedgie only operates from 4-5pm (with the green room operating 10am-4pm)

That’s entirely based on taste. I’m excited for both but Leviathan has callbacks to my youth and Bush Beast at Wonderland so if I had a choice of which I’m most looking forward to, it’s Leviathan every day as I haven’t ridden a wooden coaster in the best part of 20 years
