  1. Given Wikipedia is user input driven, its hardly reliable. I'd probably get info off the actual parks website, which has stated Summer for quite some time.
  2. Then someone who hasn't been around long and no one knows from a bar of soap says "i know, trust me" it comes off wankerish. When a community leader on these forums like @Slick says it, it is because it means "i know, trust me".
  3. That is a good deal. I renewed 10 weeks ago and all we got was $99 deal
  4. The title says 2021. Your post says 2022. if you have a DeLorean, I’d love a ride. if you don’t, there is a strong case you won’t be allowed over the border at that point. maybe 2023 if you’ve have the 22 booster shots?
  5. Nice to see them bowing to public pressure - i know a number of people, myself included, made our dissatisfaction heard. It would have been nice to not be an afterthought however...
  6. It’s weird they include Fully 6 slides 2 & 3 as a separate attraction - yet the content when you click on it is the same as for the standard Fully 6 attraction
  7. WhiteWater World is reopening these school holidays and we're celebrating with a SPLASH! Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 September Brought to you by our friends at Billabong, Quicksilver and Roxy, we're serving up the ultimate opening party with a DJ, entertainment, games & prize giveaways, all FREE with your WhiteWater World entry
  8. Believe it will need more than 2 weeks testing. I think a September holiday launch is a little fanciful
  9. Likely then to need a loader on the other side of the boat unless they plan on stopping the boats to load. 1 person Checking 8 lap bars while the boat is in motion seems unlikely
  10. The brakes are on the track, not on the train. I’m not sure if they’ve tweaked the brake run but I wouldn’t necessarily be expecting that will be different
  11. Whilst that 70% goal may be achieved I’d be expecting IF lockdown is lifted, severe restrictions would apply to everything involving crowds for months
  12. And once again Membership holders treated like cattle class. one pass gets free entry memberships only get 50% off, despite having fright nights admission included in their tickets that is not going ahead for the second year..
  13. haha... this one didnt come addressed to my nephew, came addressed to my missus.... maybe they only want her to come to the Fair....
  14. I actually got an email about this, it’s a miracle. DWs hit and miss mail lists strike again
  15. Courtesy of Dreamworld - Remembering the Golden Years.. we have a train being lifted onto the tracks
  16. It’s not in junk filters mate. I’m a little more tech savvy than to be complaining about their marketing lists having not checked my own spam folders
  17. Did you get this on email? I didn’t get it…. No surprise because DWs mail list system is horrendous. I still get emails addressed to my nephew who I purchased a yearly pass for once, 7 years ago, yet get none addressed to me or my partner who Have been passholders for near on 10 years
  18. There won’t be any interstate visitors in Qld again in 2021 (except for maybe NT/WA) so I don’t think they are gonna get the bang for the buck they were counting on with a Xmas launch. Whether they accept that, take the hit, and still open Leviathan, who knows. I doubt Trident is a priority in the current circumstances. I’d say it’s also pushed back the AA replacement plans too
  19. Have to say it was a real empty feeling having to leave movieworld at 3:30 yesterday and the feeling was consistent across many. it was 27 degrees and perfect weather, the park was really busy. And they shut up shop early. I’m supportive of reduced hours on weekdays, but it’s stupidity closing early on a Saturday. and whilst I didn’t specifically look everywhere for it, I saw no visible entry signage stating the park would be closing earlier
  20. Garden and fountain. personally I’ve always thought there was a real lack of those at DW
