  1. Did Superman today and it was interesting with Flash there! Felt you like got particularity close to the yellow track if you sat on the right. Going to be have some fun interactions when it opens!
  2. Here's a piccy. Looks like just the ride panels and surrounding trees / tents.
  3. Don't think it's the ride system itself, just some of the casing. I had a good zoom in on it on my last visit.
  4. From the new Superman pov on Movie World's TikTok you can see a bit of the Oz site, with concrete!
  5. Yeah that makes more sense, especially with the new Universal park in Texas that's 's apparently going to be Dreamworks focused. There are still a few non Universal parks out there that have Dreamworks areas (Gardaland has Kung Fu Panda, Heide Park has How to Train Your Dragon, and of course the massive indoor land at MotionGate). Will be interesting to see if they follow suite! I'm also happy with the Kenny focused direction over more external IP. Definitely makes it stand out compared to Movie World down the road. Mixes well with ABC and the Wiggles as it gives it that Aussie flair!
  6. I don't think Dreamworld's licence would have affected the decision to green light the land or not at Universal.
  7. It's especially worse when they're using it to store the Sea World Carnivale parade floats!
  8. I was going to say you could check out "Dream World" and compare it to ours, but looks like its 11 hours away. Can't think of anything in your area, but have a great time regardless!
  9. I was really surprised to see it there! Yup, was located in the Arkham alley. Might mean we'll some some progress on the theming sooner than later. I hope they also bring back the old Chinatown route.
  10. Oops, yeah misread that. Dang.
  11. What did this used to be exactly? I never got to do it before it closed
  12. The prizes: The winner of the Leviathan Quest will win a two-night stay at Sea World Resort plus a VIP behind the scenes tour of the Leviathan ride, after hours, with the Sea World operations team. This is your chance to hear all about the ride’s construction, maintenance, and a whole host of interesting facts about the world’s most iconic wooden rollercoaster. It’s truly a money-can’t-buy experience. Second place will receive a Whale Watching Tour for Four People and the third-place participant will win Two Hours of Topgolf gameplay for themselves and 5 friends. For every five Experience Points collected, you will receive a Leviathan Egg that hatches into a 3D Leviathan character of varying rarity. These Leviathan characters allow you to be part of an exclusive community and the more you ride, the more Leviathan characters you can collect. You get 1 exp point per ride. Ride 5 times to get an Leviathan egg! (I guess they have excess stock haha)
  13. I could see them getting a copy pasted version of the Avengers ride coming to DCA if it does well.
  14. Probably a headache in the licensing department but something like the Great Movie Ride, themed to WB100, would have been great.
  15. Didn't expect that! I hope it's still Looney Tunes themed
  16. May be misremembering, but didn't Surfrider get some new track after it closed? Perhaps the 20 mil is also taking those costs into account
  17. Maybe they're getting a new car for it? That's the only thing I can think of that could cause a delay like that. Hopefully with lap bars!
  18. Certainty not a good look for it, especially with that queue time sign! The cycle was also a lot shorter than normal, barely over a minute. To top it off, I heard someone coming off the ride say to his friends "Doomsday Sucks!" Here's a clip of the ride in action today (moments before it broke down). This is as high as it got. dd2.mp4
  19. Doomsday is running today without the inversions! The cycle was less than a minute. It then broke down when the floor wouldn't raise under the gondolas. I think it's time has come... Wild West Falls opened this afternoon, but closed shortly after with people having to do an "in show exit" from the ride.
