  1. I'm not sure how we got to this - wasn't really expecting a deep dive into MTA's efficencies compared to a roller coaster based in a ficitious city based off NYC, but can we just get VRTP to operate their roller coaster amusement devices more efficently. (also more than one service uses the same platforms in actual NYC)
  2. I don't even think that's true.. this is an enhanced version of @Smol bean's photo posted earlier.. it's clearly between the main structure and the track.
  3. The width doesn’t matter - they just had to make it look like a w
  4. If only it dispatched as frequently as an actual subway
  5. I'm convinced they got two M's. On the left is the W flipped.
  6. They could have just kept scooby in its current state (which was fine for years) and do the referb once Oz is open.
  7. Really quick switching track that will load a train once the previous train clears the top hat (maybe the same sideways style like mr freeze?) - then commence the launch once the previous train passes the final brake run .. should be about 50 secs - whereas the hydraulic launch took about 40 secs to reset. So instead of just sitting there waiting for that, you're doing a swing launch. Station position doesn't really matter if you're launching both directions.
  8. The speculation is the spike will be taller than the top hat (which probably means only the back row will reach 500ft)
  9. We can only hope. SE/Scooby/Levi load platforms are indoors and airconditioned. Rivals has huge ass fans and is covered.
  10. Heck they could even have LSM's at the top to aide in a slow crest experience.
  11. So they're moving futher away from Disney/Universal level and heading closer towards Six Flags
  12. It will be with 99% of certainty for me, a quick switch track with 3 launches. The abilty to fine tune the trains speed on the last launch to ensure a slow crest over the tophat - could lead to a really great ride experience.
  13. It’s footers that match up with the spike rumours. It was shared previously without credit so I’ve got no idea where it comes from originally
  14. Apparently the reason for nearly 12 month referb time was a mix up where the received a m instead of a w /s
  15. You should probably go back to the original reply.. saying the "whole spiral section was full" was full doesn't really give a great indication on how quickly the ride was cycling. What's our defintion of the sprial section being full? Joe Public really appreciates a queue that moves ... especially at over twice the speed!
  16. Don't you guys understand that the queue line wait time is directly related to the cycle time?
