  1. The hours are still shit - it needs to be like 11am to 9pm during the peak summer period. Keep the food places open for longer so people can eat dinner there too and that alone should pay it off. To compare - Universal Studios Hollywood is open 09:00 AM - 10:00 PM at the moment (middle of their winter) - and their halloween events run til 2am. I'm going off the reviews that the attendants are still required to do the seatbelts. Even more wild that at dreamworld they're required to rfid each row .. I'm still 100% certain someone saw them do it on Hagride and decided it would be a great idea for their ride (of a completely different system).
  2. The tornado has nothing to do with how crap their operations are - for years now.
  3. No one can still answer why the ride attendants need to put the seatbelts on - when it’s fine for the guest to do it on every other park on the planet on this same ride model (most don’t even have seatbelts) And as @Baconjack said - I’d you want to have train securing methods that are way over the top - put 4 people on the platform that their whole job is to secure the train - and let them check each row independently (not wait for an issue on the other side of the train to be fixed) No one can still answer why the ride attendants need to put the seatbelts on - when it’s fine for the guest to do it on every other park on the planet on this same ride model (most don’t even have seatbelts) And as @Baconjack said - If you want to have train securing methods that are way over the top - put 4 people on the platform that their whole job is to secure the train - and let them check each row independently (not wait for an issue on the other side of the train to be fixed) Don’t know what happened above - I can’t edit it 😕
  4. The least they could have done is extend the hours by a few hours, and not accept queue skips during those hours.
  5. I saw some branches across rivals track too - not sure if it needs engineering checks etc ?
  6. I think this is purely a tactic to sell an annual pass - the platinum pass is $125 per year right now and includes parking - so you make it worth while with 2 visits. A diamond pass at $200/y includes all US six flags parks.. all with discounts too.
  7. It’s the opposite for me - I B-line out there after I land to reject the jet lag. Did you do Wonder Woman in the back row? I found the rides (especially Tatsu) are considerably slower in the cold
  8. Yeah a bit of a L I guess it was a lot cheaper than remaking all the supports (and footers)
  9. 10 days later … it’s testing https://x.com/estop_central/status/1734341916207276111?s=46
  10. I did 1,2,4 in the same week - and I'd tend to agree with their order - Gwazi's length is its downfall - SteVie just keeps on going (and its operations are so much better too)
  11. Melbourne is getting the musical in 2025… if that adds any relevance
  12. My hot take is it's a way to make money from the venue without having noise complaints from the neighbours ... gigs went close to midnight - the last "show' will finish 10pm.. and I can imagine it will be considerably quieter than rock and roll gigs.
  13. Why did they just spend so much time and money getting Xcelerator working then?
  14. Yes correct - Hagride is a family coaster and features a spike with a quick switch track.
  15. I'm not sure how else I'm meant to prove it.. I work in events in Sydney - and the venue was pretty popular with Christmas parties.. and it's that season. That would require the events to make custom content that suits whatever screens they put in...
