Super stuff. How are you going to be able to keep up? Demand will exceed resources that's for sure.

I'd be gutted if I was mistaken for poor old worthless, slacked jawed Shifty

About time Richy Rich. Does that mean you'll delete any jibberish post?

New to Movie World: Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster

I think the webmaster has 'forgotten' to make the changes The old unintentional intentional ploy... -
All I said was I didn't think it would work. Using the present boats, I seriously don't think something like that could be done. I could be wrong. How different are the rafts on this ride to the existing Snowy ones? Probably built completely differently old son. Most likely built for doing this very thing unlike Snowy's.

I'm almost sure they'll tip over if they tried that Mexican. If this happened to work, which it wouldn't, they'd also need to get some sort of better restraint system happening than the velcro seat belt they currently have. Just build a replica as far as I'm concerned.

Ahhhh that explains your crowds of 10,000-15,000 Shifty? That's for the whole weekend? Gotchya Wonderland isn't exactly in the sticks Shift. It's only an hour or so to the city. 15 mins from Penriff... A stone's throw from the raceway. It's right on the Motorway Shift. Access isn't a problem. Really, it's pretty central to the majority of Sydney either by rail or car. Four really big town centres within a bees doodle of Wonderland. The Gold Coast parks aren't exactly within walking distance of the Gold Coast or Brisbane either digger... Don't turn this topic aswell into Wonderland. Steer clear.

I think they'd only be interested in the slides wouldn't they? What I think Jamberoo should do is purchase Snowy's boats and re-build Snowy. I think that would be an ideal setup down there. It would go very well in that place. Thoughts?

I read somewhere that a lot of the kids rides are there for the holidays only. I'm pretty sure it was the paper come to think of it. It's unfortunate they were rushed to get it open for the holidays, but give it a couple more months I predict it will look pretty top notch. Also don't forget the builders walked off the job for a couple of weeks at one stage, throwing plans into chaos.

Schwarz, Its history of failure, I think you're getting at, is irrelavent old son. The park has changed its focus. It is now a lot more focussed on functions than it was last time. As far as I'm concerned the functions were something on the side for the park. Now the roles have reversed. That's just my opinion anyway. I think you'll find I'm right, because I generally am. Does this have to be said again?

Don't worry mate, you don't use them anyway and if you had a chest the restraints wouldn't be a problem. Get to the gym old son. Endeavour is as boring as bat poo unless you're up on the rails trying to stay on without using hands. As for Beastie, well I guess I was wrong and Wonderland think it's capable of being fired up again. Ah well. Maybe the treated pine could be strategically placed in certain people's fire places anyway.

Don't forget we had 18 mm of rain in one half an hour period at one stage yesterday. It poured for the majority of the day... Who in their right mind would go out in that? Luna Park is more function based. I have no doubt it will do very well.

Yep, very hollow and a long, long way up I'll give you the tip I think when I said any ride is transportable if you want it to be, answered his/her/its question Gazza McGoozel Dog. In other words, of course it'll come apart. It was put up in pieces and you watch it come down in pieces. Taken down from the top in one night I expect. Just quietly, I understand that Wally World have the two Woodies on their expression of interest list. Are they cracking jokes? Like Ricky Ricardo said, the trains maybe... I also agree that the only ride worth salvaging is Bounty's. It's a unique, uncommon bastard (For future reference can I say bastard?) and most likely worth a lot of money and would be a good addition to any park in my book. I wouldn't go on it, but that's irrelavent All the other flats wouldn't be worth any effort. Except maybe the merry-go-round which will travel. All the others, you probably won't see again. Not that there's a lot left anyway
-
TIM, The reason the Big Dipper was removed was because of noise. How do you propose they'd get away with putting Demon in? Any ride is transportable if you want it to be. They all come apart don't forget... I expect most of them will go to Asia if they don't become kitchen utensils. There's a possibility maybe one or two may stay in the country heading in a westerly direction Keep your eyes and ears open for more old sons.

You will all have noticed the NTG logos on Space Probe. The thing is, they are only 14 months or thereabouts from memory, into the 4 year contract worth $2.5 million. Looks like it's more money that has to come out of the sale to pay them back... I'm also wondering where that money ever went? Certainly wasn't on any improvements to the ride...

You'll see that it tells you that Zodiac was SBNO for 2 consecutive seasons, so it basically does give you the closing. Was I reading somewhere correctly when I saw that Zodiac was not originally in it's current location? If so, where was it? I'm glad you reiterated the 1975 opening Psyc
-
From what I can remember, Zodiac was removed from Kings Island at the end of the 1989 season. It went in there in 1975, so it's nearly 30 years old. It appeared to be SBNO from 1987. I can't remember if Zodiac was there or not before that. For some reason I thought it was, but obviously not.

There's an old saying Rap Rap. Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat!

I think this is an extremely good idea. Surely, more family oriented activities is good for a theme park. This is definitely not going to harm them as far as I'm concerned. Sure, it may not sound exciting for you or I, but it will appeal to the kids, like Shifty and the like You know as well as I do how much kids love farm animals. Good Move!
-
I'm seriously unsure whether I'd want to ride that by the way it's been described Going on rides, you're always taking a chance, but generally feel safe. This sounds like it could be tempting fate and will take a bit of convincing to get people on it. Nasty. hehe
-
Thanks Wonderbluff. Much appreciated digger.
-
You're not OVER exaggerating Shifty, but does that mean you are still exaggerating? I'm thinking 15,000 would almost be beyond capacity. 10,000 means 90 minute waits at a ride like Snowy. I got caught on the M4 that day. Traffic was banked back for at least a couple of kilometres west bound approaching the Wallgrove exit. It was a poo fight! Would have left any Union Day I'd ever had been involved in for dead.
-
Yeah that's what I thought, but what is the Orphan Rocker? Sorry if I was unclear old sons. It's been a long day.
-
Except we're in Australia and it is realise . I won't mention the others because I'm too damn decent. Paul, I haven't heard of this project. Can you give those in the same boat some details? Sounds promising though. What size scale are we talking?
-
Bus, Can you elaborate on the 2 cabins at Probe and no unloader at Demon? What is the bloody go there? Shifty, It was probably just that voice in your head again old son...
