Love that! He sounds like a genuinely good bloke. I haven’t had the opportunity to visit fun fields but this definitely makes me want to go more. Interesting what he says about coasters. I can see why sort of he doesn’t want to go with a big coaster yet. As he doesn’t want to become a super slick park if that’s the right term? A high end millions of dollars coaster might lose some of the family owned/in house built charm the park has? i am interested in what he thinks would do better then a DCR though. What water attraction is appealing in cold weather? I think just having heated water wouldn’t really make cold people want to get wet even if it’s warm water. I definitely would ride coasters any temperature but being a coaster enthusiast I get we are the minority compared to GP. btw is there only 7 park chat episodes or is there more somewhere.

Cool definitely a unique park! I personally like the atmosphere the old rides give the park and think they kinda make it for me. And I don’t just mean the real old ones like SR, GT ect. the enterprise, spider and similar aged rides are awesome. LPM’s charm for me is the old collection of rides. Those 80s rides are slowly disappearing and replacing them would be a shame. It will happen one day but for now I love it. LPM will never beat gumbuya world in rides and roller coasters so why go for that market?

Wow that is a shame. I feel like that’s a little dumb to be so high. I get they want to make it a premium experience but wouldn’t having say $10 a ride and almost every train full in the backwards seats actually end up making them more money then $30 with the odd person in backwards. I think that is just part of the understaffed problem that everywhere has at the moment.

Apparently that’s why they aren’t supposed to park at the bottom of car parks in case they explode. It’s like a tiny tiny chance of it happening but that’s what someone told me. I wouldn’t take it as fact. Living life on the edge makes life way better’s

I got the opportunity to go to Sydney for a couple days this week and noticed a crane over the wild mouse. OzThills noticed it as well. Not sure what they would be doing that needs a crane but I heard it’s getting a retrack. Probably only in some spots but maybe they will do it all. the park was closed on the 26th-25th so I couldn’t get a good look at it.

It crossed my mind that it could have been some what purpose full for publicity or insurance but I don’t think Disney is that desperate.

Sure would have made that show interesting! 😬 . Really hope nobody was hurt. Seems like quite a freak accident. Rare for Disney in some ways.

The ceo of movieworld a small theme park on the Gold Coast had this to say ”after almost 20 years of looking up at red and blue we are getting sick of it. It’s time for a change. DC Rivals looks good in purple. It’s about time superman escape is purple” after the park was scammed of over 2 million dollars on a life time supply of purple paint they have decided to put it to good use ”you can expect to see all attractions here at movieworld to be purple in the coming years. We might even consider painting at our other properties”

The carnival that comes in summer every year close to my town had bumper cars/dodgems for $8 a ride. The cycle was descent but it was just an average dodgems.. but it had the only line of all the rides that day. And There’s only 6 rides there. So I think opening them ant DW for markets would be a good idea as they would be popular enough. $5 would be a good deal nowadays.. or At least compared to this particular carnival. I definitely don’t ride bumper cars at theme parks but if it was the only ride open I would do it.

A grey or black would look smart next to superman I reckon. Would give the half pipe its own unique color while not taking much away from superman.

One of the best things about intamin has been their variety and not just one size fits all. Unfortunately having near no parts that carry across from one ride to another meaning there’s heaps of specialised parts it’s also their biggest weakness

I think footers will be the most time consuming. I mean look at wildcats revenge! That thing went up so quick. Mostly because footers and some supports were already there. I am betting we see footers start being put in for the coasters within 1-2 months.

Leaving maybe yellow to be the best option? Not sure how that color ages but I think it could pull it off

Didn’t someone rumour it would be themed to flash? I remember someone posted that someone in the staff told them it was going to be themed to flash and the surf board would become a skate board. seems like a bad clash if it’s true

Claw and ST for 20$ is crazy cheap. You wanna run them into the ground? But I do agree having rides open at night time is a major draw card DW could use that they haven’t taken advantage of. But having the markets adds complications to it. But Its a great way to get people’s trust back in the park and slowly bringing rides into the picture. So the markets work. Running WS and tree house is great. I think it could cheapen the product running anything more but say it did happen I think only school hoildays, have a 60-80$ unlimited night rides for X date pass. It would be pricey for the ride count open at night but I think it kinda needs to be . ST being the head liner and the big new ride if there was an option to pay per ride at night to ride the new ride most people would think why go during the day? We got on the ride we wanted too now we are done. Night markets job is to lure people into going for a day. If you can pay a cheaper price ride all the big rides and at night then it’s objective failed. 🤷🏼‍♂️
