  1. Definitely worth the wait then! Levithan is easily one of our best coasters. Again Love your reviews! You’re great at explaining the experience. I can almost feel the airtime and laterals while watching. glad you had a nice time! And congratulations with the honeymoon! what do you think was the biggest surprise about the trip? Like a ride or park you thought would be one thing but ended up exceeding or not living up to expectations @Canobie Coaster
  2. Is it the same experience as loopy light house?
  3. Interesting. So Village can do things quick when they feel like it.
  4. It wasn’t oversaturated in my photo roll but For some reason it went like that when I posted it on here. Yeah no I agree. Those ones do look better especially when used digitally. The art style feels fun and vibrant and works with dreamworld’s other art styles imo. I am surprised no one has brought up that embarrassment of a map that is DW’s 3D digital map that’s less reliable than dooms day. Damn that thing needs to be removed or completely overhauled. It’s a good idea that basically no effort was put into.
  5. If wild mouse was open I would be fine to pay. Not many parks have 2, basically 1 or a kind roller coasters (yes I know it wouldn’t be forever. More hot racers will sell). But oh well what can you do 🤷🏼‍♂️ btw what is the best of the sea life parks?
  6. That would be great! Especially since I am going on a Tuesday anyway. On the 28th the day pass costs $44 but the twilight 3hr pass also costs $44 on that day 🤷🏼‍♂️ why have it on the cheaper days if you’re not going to lower the price!
  7. My favourite map style of all time is the amazing hand drawn maps like the 90s dreamworld map. But let’s be honest a map like that is just not going to happen these days. I think my favourite newer style park map that I have seen is probably the one Currumbin wildlife sanctuary use. It’s detailed and looks fun. But also works just as well digital as printed . It makes it feel full of things to do. Another thing that doesn’t help dreamworlds current map is they exclude all surrounding bush and tree. Leaving a few would help I think. But overall it’s just been deleted from and added to way too many times and it needs a full on refresh. But it’s not worth doing that till the new areas are open. Anyway here’s CWS’s map
  8. For what ever reason 3 major coaster YouTubers decided to come visit Australia in the same year! Very out of the blue Canobie Coaster has come and gone from Australia. He’s definitely one of my favourite theme park YouTubers and I find it interesting how secret he kept it. Here’s the first video if anyone is interested https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjWyLSi9qP-AhV4mVYBHQV2DGEQwqsBegQICxAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dy-Zkg75zFtI&usg=AOvVaw3jQBEY_eLTN3ioNrM25Fzk
  9. The timing is not great but I got a Window so I might as well take it. There’s no other website or place you can get tickets cheaper is there? I know there used to be some deals for the Gold Coast parks out side of what the parks offered if you did some other stuff.
  10. With how fast they have been going with it I think if they keep up this pace September isn’t to unrealistic.
  11. But since they are All the way out there thrill coasters would definitely make the park more appealing to overseas and out of state tourists. Thrill rides drive gate.
  12. What company ran dreamworld at the time Wonderland sold to the crap management? I wonder if they were ever interested in buying WLS ? I feel like it’s one of the only ways WLS might have hung around to this day.
  13. Well I only got about 3 hours anyway to check out LPS unfortunately .The prices are fair enough I guess.. 🤷🏼‍♂️ it wouldn’t take long to spend that money on dinky rides at a carnival. Last one I went too it was $8 for 1 cycle on what ever ride you picked. Which was like bumber cars, chair swing and one of those old scrabblers. And I guess $44 only gets you like 2 backwards rides on Leviathan ( this “ranting” is mostly just me trying to justify the price to myself ) But still for a park like LPS it should have Pay per ride and a ristband for people who got the day pass. Because who actually spends a whole day a LPS? Maybe when the mouse is open but still. I wish Twilight tickets were $20-$30. but anyway. If I do end up going I am actually pretty pumped. It will basically be my first thrill coaster I have done outside of the Gold Coast. And I hear great things about the drop tower .
  14. Imagine a intamin vertical launch coaster ! They wouldn’t be cheap
  15. Alright yeah it sucks there’s no pay per ride option anymore I was half banking on that. It probably wouldn’t have been much better of a deal I guess after a few rides on B, BD3, the wave swinger (which will actually be my first one I used to avoid them). and sledgehammer . I might be able to do the twilight package though. The day ticket would feel a better deal if the wild mouse was open but I knew I would be missing it. I don’t mind paying, but The hard thing is persuading the group I will be with, that it’s worth it.
  16. I might finally get to check out Big Dipper 3 in the coming weeks. But I was wondering since I don’t want to be at the park All day, just a few hours. Is there a pay per ride option? I remember there used to be. Or a morning option or something like that? Also I know everyone must be so sick of school holiday related questions but how are wait times at LPS during the hoildays? BD3 doesn’t exactly look to have a good throughput. if there’s any other tips or things you guys know I would love to hear about it! .
  17. If they did buy it, it would have probably been resold by now with them selling WNW Sydney and WNW Las Vegas.
  18. Those flats look really good. The 3rd one might be a bit similar to the 2nd one but the first 2 would be sick there. The 3rd one would be too though
  19. Yeah you would think so. I definitely feel more comfortable now flying with them as they will naturally be more aware and safety conscious. Past accidents don’t mean, present things are dangerous. Usually it means the opposite. There’s some instances when it’s not the case but generally you’re safer doing something after an accident has occurred *and the company learned from their mistakes* at least when it comes to stuff like this.
  20. It’s the little things like this that really help add value without costing the park much
  21. Wonderland would’ve loved that marvel IP now!! Biggest L to close that park.
  22. The retheme might have been more of just a repaint but damn that’s one of the best ride signs on the Gold Coast. The “serpent” bit does get a bit lost though a pin stripe might help
  23. Oh no!! rampage looked kinda rad I really wanted to ride it. The theming for it look sick too!! It is one of the best looking flat rides in Australia now with wipeout gone. as for a replacement I think a Gravity Group family woodie would be awesome there. Something like Oscar’s wacky taxi or if they wanted something really unique go a ZDT switchback style ride. if they wanted more of a thrill coaster a Fonox style vekoma would be so sick there. Do they still make Top Scan rides? If they replaced it with a flat ride I hope it’s a top scan. as for the drop tower replace that with a equally as high Larson Arm drop tower. Apparently they are one of the best drop towers in the world.
  24. Thanks! RWS looks like it’s worth checking out. Is there any random rides in the middle of the city?
