If it’s in the front they probably wanted them small enough to not be somewhat covered up by the drop rails. The old TOT sign was somewhat hard to read from far away because it was half covered. If you didn’t know what it said it just looked messy

The map then definitely was more detailed and beautiful looking but I wouldn’t say it looks much bigger. The new map is a lot more zoomed out. In 5 years I can see it being a lot more similar sized. If they showed WWW in the same map it would look more impressive.

It’s hard to tell what it says even from the proper viewing point… I do feel like ripping it out is kinda a waste. It’s there now maybe just cut power to it. That section of QLD feels like Detroit or something with all the huge abandoned buildings and weird abandoned car park under the BP

Considering the budget is 333M I am sure they could spend some of that on dealing with the floods better. Put in some big tanks or something Don’t be too hard on your self.

I can’t say I am completely in favour of the hotel how ever I can see the benefits. If rooms were affordable I would definitely stay there from time to time. I also like that it forces DW to either expand the park instead of do a hotel or it means they gotta think more outside the box on an attempt at having a hotel/resort. My only concern is it taking away from the MW skyline but top golf has already ruined it so it won’t really matter. Either way I am excited to see what happens and I definitely won’t lose any sleep over which way they end up going. I loved reading the objections 😂

I never realised the area was known at cades county I thought it was a name made up for the original cades county water park.

These same monkeys seem to have a lot of trouble on water slide tubes even though they have watched people in front of them do it. ar WNW the other day I realised how much of the wait times is just people not understanding how to sit in the tubes despite on most the slides it’s easy to watch the people in front load.

Did intamin them selfs make the hydronic launch mechanisms or was it another company that contracted out too intamin? In the past other company’s have done the track and LSM manufacturing for intamin. Maybe the original company would still make replacement parts? If SE was to ever be replaced what do you think could possibly replace it? By then we will probably have more coaster designs and really proven if new concepts like the axis coaster end up being reliable or not but we could still place bets. I think maybe it could be a launched inverted or flying coaster. I think once it becomes impossible to maintain the current launch it would almost be better to replace the ride versus a most likey down graded experience with LSM’s. By then though LSM technology will probably be near as powerful at hydraulic launch’s. I will wait and see how the first conversions go. I can see major park chains sacrificing less popular Hydraulic coasters for the parts to keep the good ones operational. I think SE will be one of the last to reach the end.

some hydraulic launch coasters are only good Because of the launch. Most of them don’t have much of a layout after the launch. SE at least would still have the theming but it definitely wouldn’t be as good of a ride if it had LSM’s. It’s a pretty short launch track but I wonder if S&S would retro fit an air launch to it came down to it. Actually a air launch would be perfect for Xcelerator I really wanna get out to nagashima spa land. They got one Of the last schwarzkopf weight drop launch’s. I believe there’s only 2 or 3 still in operation

I have over heard people in seaworld who said they thought the jet rescue track was part of storm… so some people would probably think it’s connected to SE but it’s not that big of a deal. Imagine how many people are going to make up story’s like “one time it went too fast and flew of the track” because it’s a shuttle coaster 🤦‍♂️

Weird to close your only kids coaster on school holidays. Something must’ve been delayed. There’s no way the park wanted it to be postponed

But I mean becoming a theme park enthusiast is basically the definition of reaching a point in life where you got no real crap to worry about so you start caring about if a sign at a park you have no control over isn’t 3D.

Btw is there any reason why WWW’s slides operate with 2 person tubes and 1 person tubes on most slides while WNW mainly only has 2 person tubes?

DC rivals dispatches were painfully slow today. One train operations and it spent an average of around 5-7 minutes just sitting in the station. They are pretty understaffed at the moment (they were only operating one side of mammoth falls today). But there’s gotta be a more efficient method. The park was busy today it was surprising. But there was a lot of disappointed people when they found out so many rides were closed (the maintenance page needs to be easier to find on the website) I feel like when so many rides are in maintenance they should run 2 trains on DCR to compensate. All the staff at MW and WNW were really friendly and chirpy. I feel bad for them though as a lot of people were blaming and taking their frustration out on the innocent staff which is not cool.

I know I don’t know why but it really annoys me. We can let them have first giga (even though ToT was kinda the first giga but in shuttle coaster form) just let us have first coaster to hit 100 MPH

Airtime thrills keeps saying superman escape from krypton was the first coaster to use LSM’s and hit 100 MPH. It’s really annoying that he hasn’t done more research on it. If he actually fact checked he would realise TOT was undoubtedly the first.

Only one I have done in SBBSB . These rides are the kind people only do for the credit or they are kids

I just want to say I have taken your feedback and others on. I will do my best to apply this advice before I make posts on this forum.
