  1. A certain member on this forum has an incredible computer with the best gfx card available, 2GB ram and a 3.4ghz dual core processor. When we tried to run RCT3 on it, it left a lot to be desired. RCT3 is just a very badly designed game.
  2. Is it just me or is the ride always being "fixed"?

    The Wii

I paid over $1200 when the PS2 was released for the console and a few games. At the time, I thought it was money well spent.
  4. I've uploaded a bunch of videos, so check them out if you haven't seen them already. I encourage anyone that has videos to register and upload them to the site - it will be a great way to expose your video and get your name out there. Apologies for the double post.
  5. A couple of videos have had to retain their natural format and size as I've had issues with encoding .wmv's (which should be fixed now). You'll find that with the videos that are already encoded to the flash format (.flv), they will load a whole lot faster. Any video that is now uploaded should be encoded to .flv while it is being uploaded. Also keep in mind that the server is in the US - obviously if the site becomes popular enough I'll consider adding a seperate dedicated server for Australia. Thanks, Liam
  6. ^ Wow. What jacinta said was fine. Let's try to be more welcoming to new members. You should try contacting HussRainbow. He has plenty of photos that I'm sure he'd love to share with you.
  7. Wow! Fantastic work. Congratulations to all those involved
  8. Seems like an odd time of year to add a water based attraction... I say it's a Setpoint Roller Soaker.
  9. I won't be able to make it to this meet... I should be up around April though so if anyone wants to meet up then I'd be more than happy to. Have fun all!
  10. I'm pretty sure Knotts didn't just do it "to see if they could make Xcellerator 40 odd more kilometres faster than its normal speed". The hydraulic system is capable of producing faster than usual speeds safely, and without causing too much strain on the structure. Most rocket coasters have had this test with an Intamin tech on site, including Top Thrill Dragster.
  11. I agree with Alex, two of your strongest passions combined IS the dream job. I have no doubt that with Clint behind the lighting console the show will (technically) be nothing short of spectacular. Congratulations
  12. Yeah, those are the audition dates as seen here. Rumour is that the 2006 season will be starting in February
  13. Great news guys! Thanks for sharing. A month joz? Better book my flights soon
  14. Really? I thought Hong Kong had a ban against spitting in public areas... we need that ban here!
  15. ^Is that you, Slick? With the restraints, Superman would do just fine with some Xcelerator type of modifications or TTD's 2inch seatbelt slack rule. I just don't see how an OSTR would be safer than a lapbar on a ride like this.
  16. http://archive.org Also would like to add that Nev's comment was awesome.
  17. NatDog - wow! Looks brilliant. Good to see you remembered to include the angled brake run too Try using Fraps to record a video. Any word on the trains yet? I'm really hoping that we don't get the OSTR treatment - it just wouldn't make sense. The ride's built for air and the experience would be killed if we did get them. Surely WBMW had some input on the train's restraints, or are Intamin no longer using their (awesome) lap bars?
  18. Thanks guys! Paul, only the turn (which is a whole lot more banked than in my RCT3 version) after the first bunny hill is complete so far, the rest of the layout is going by what rabid said it would be on TPR. LunaParkFanatic, press Shift + Ctrl + F11 to record videos ingame. It's heaps slow though, that onride took about 20 mins to record. The video will be saved as a wmv to your RCT3 folder in My Videos.
  19. Here's my RCT3 version of Superman based off what we've seen and heard so far. Click here for an onride video.
