  1. The indoor queue looks amazing! However in my view, nothing quite embodies immersion like being bombarded with HBO Max ads while queuing for an hour for one of Australia’s most “iconic” rides… might be worth the trade off for the extra fountains and props, however for a park that’s build so much hype I would prefer no ads
  2. I would love to see a contemporary take on TOT! I can't help but to imagine what a new-get TOT would be like? Even the station building is still there and with todays technology I'd be surprised if it only went straight out and back... I know it would never happen but it is defiantly an interesting idea.
  3. I agree, Dreamworld isn’t the same as it was since Covid. Crowed levels are drastically more and I don’t think the Covid era hours will help DW in the competition between them and Village
  4. I agree with the general opinion on WWW not being open. I think it is crazy to wait until December 15 to reopen WWW for full week operations, when many school goers finish in mid-late November (Year 12), I do hope that DW trust that people will come to at least have WWW starting full week trading before then ideally mid November. it doesn’t even need to be a full park for full hours. But when summer is right around the corner and DW has no water rides I think it would be for the best to have WWW open to at least offer different experiences then just roller coasters. If we can’t have WWW as an option to visit just for staffing reasons, then maybe just offering the green room tower, fully 6 and wave pool would be enough.
  5. Zamperla did for the longest time, I’m not sure if they still do after their rebranding they did last year
  6. I do find it weird placing the house in the main entertainment venue, they keep talking on the socials about how it’s going back to original format. So I’m unsure where they will do the live show, I wonder what they put the BB house in the entertainment centre rather then the old thunderbolt building which would still have its amenities, closer to the out door area, access from the back and would give access to the blue roller coaster
  7. I find it strange that KT has scheduled maintenance this early, it has two tracks, two trains so I wonder why they are not just doing maintenance on one side and still operating the other side? I would like to think if there is track maintenance they need to do they couldn't do it in the evening or morning time so they don't need to touch it while in day operation and for the train maintenance they could just remove the train from the track? I feel one day shut down is better than 3 months?
  8. When it’s open 10-3 every day I am sure we can agree that it is open due to a lack of competition and even then it does not have enough customers to pull to see full day trading hours. water parks take a lot of staff to run so operating a second park for 5 guests a day doesn’t sound super efficient. although this winter has been warm so maybe it would have been best to at least keep weekend trade til july
  9. If Merlin wanted to buy it they’d 100% turn it into a Legoland…
  10. The question is, if CE is really going to sell Dreamworld. Who is going to do it first because BHG isn’t going to hold onto village for much longer I see them reopening SDSC operating it for 1-2 years drive that value of the chain up then sell at the peak. will someone even buy DW? Or village for that matter?
  11. If they are building resorts, who says they won't build a new park? it does seem like they are locking themselves in. But I still see a few areas that can be expanded into like behind WWW, the island in the middle, motocoaster and old LHLR site. Also we have seen parks get more creative withy how they use space (see phantasialand) they only have 50acres all up. So its not the end of the world as long as they can keep up with the new theming they have going and continue using the (frankly limited) land for new unique experiences.
  12. I thought Aussie World have a similar ride that they have already built that just isn’t opened yet?
  13. Is that last straight part before the station flat, make it an unload station it will help speed up the load, then because we are now spending money money money… like new ride level of money then let’s add another block on the transfer turn to hold the trains for if they have been unloaded before they are ready for dispatch… no trains waiting except for empty ones
  14. It does not take weeks… like at Hyperia every time that valleys they need to take it apart and rebuild it and it does not take weeks to put the second train back.
  15. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/tsa-fails-tests-latest-undercover-operation-us-airports/story?id=51022188 not Australia, but our security models are very similar. this isn’t the only time, a simple google would yield more results.
