I have heard the same thing.

Personally I believe DW desperately needs a well themed water ride, something on Wild West Scale or Splash Mountain… they could even steal the theme from Mystic River Falls… they don’t need to build a whole mountain but it would require theming if it wants anything on WWF. Thrill rides are cool, but if you want a full day out you need those longer experiences that are longer then 2 minutes

Also you would be better off asking anyone but operations, from my experience in past jobs, the ground staff don’t usually get told what is happening it is more news that get tricked down the river, I therefore cannot trust the accuracy of that “source”. maybe there is another reason that hasn’t been considered, it’s an Intamin, and intamin takes a longer time to send parts out, maybe they found they needed a part but didn’t have it on hand? Like what happened with Superman Escape?

I mean the Gel Blasters and LMCT+ Event don't seem family focused, maybe they are only wanting to push that for the general public as apposed to private events?

They could be doing this now especially as they can just be cycling from transfer to the station, the ride does not need to do a full circuit to test any of the finer things. I would imagine there would be more then just one team working on the Jungle Rush area, and while some teams are working on MM, I'm sure Vekoma is down there programming and testing alot of the smaller aspects to a rides commissioning process. Not everyone works in a theme park, so no I'm going to assume most people have not read an operational manual related to a theme park ride

I don't think the testing is the end all and be all, doing some rough math and assuming the ride lasts 3 minutes, to get 500 cycles if that is what we are going to assume, that only requires 25 hours of cycles which can technically be achieved in two days if it comes down to that, or in 5days assuming they do 5hrs of cycling a day. We also haven't seen FoTWW start testing either so it is hard to know how far behind any of them are.

Gold Coaster just needs a retrack, I'm sure Vekoma could provide that maybe some more interesting elements?

I think it is just someone trying to get help on an assignment, otherwise I don't see someone randomly paying for IbisWorlds just for general research

How long did ocean parade take to renovate... I don't think it was close to 12months. Just seems excessive

I think you might be on the right track, but I also just don't think DW has the ride catalogue to lose a major ride for the whole year just to let Rivertown have 12months to its self

Well do we know if they still need the footprint to be so large for the restricted area? Maybe they could have the supports further out then the restricted area, and keep most pathing where it already is, I'm not a engineer or safety expert so this is what I am wondering... I also find it interesting that it is going to take a year to build, when they have built the entirety of Rivertown in the same amount of time...

I wonder if village will add anything in retaliation... Maybe they'll get DW scraps and buy the old claw to replace doomsday with. Although I could see them now seriously replacing doomsday with Dreamworld replacing the Claw

The only concern I have with this is the cycle times please let there be no seatbelts, Intamin doesn't look like they require them for even their coasters, and from ST and DCR it looks like add way more time to load times (not sure about Claw and similar rides)

I think there was miscommunication here, I meant open it up, by tearing down the fences and just allow the land to be a land rather then just a pathway. I don't mean bring back Trolls, I was just meaning hopefully we will see ocean parade get a spruce up

This is also the first Intamin Gyro swing to be removed. So it will be interesting to see what happens to it, weather it is scrapped or sold off. With claw being the second oldest behind Drayton Manors Malestrom

Maybe we will see a full Ocean Parade redo, including shaded seating... Maybe the reopening of the FloRider would be cool.... And opening up the old trolls village

Steel Taipan has a nice looking fence that still adhears to the regulations. It's not about the regulations but they could have done something nicer then just a off the shelf fence. It still doesn't explain the Brisbane Street Lights in the middle of forest theming

Well I wonder if they could achieve an non opportunistic look by using a fence similar to tailspin, still meeting the 1m high requirement using like "weathered" looked fencing it also doesn't excuse the use of the shelf Street lights that you'd see in Brisbane in side the world of WoO... My main issue isn't the fence being real but the way they did it, the examples that i have attached are some fences that still need to meet the requirements, but also convey the theme.

On another note, I looked at the photos again and something was off to me, I figured it out, it's the fences. They aren't inspired and I miss the days of where even the small details like fences and lights, and speaker were thought of for theming. Rather then just pathing and a fence. Imagine we got something similar to this, the fences, rustic and the lights on the power lines (I just googled wizard of Oz farm)... It might be not picky, but I don't want to be "transported" to the WoO where there is city lights and not thought through fences and smaller details...
