  1. Yeah iI agree. It's starting to become an old record.
  2. velo your accommodation is in the heart of Surfers. You can get a surfside bus (shuttle) to your hotel (or safest drop off point) just see the Surfside counter next to the luggage belt. Or you can get the mini shuttle to the hwy and then a click on route 700,760 & 765 for timetable from GC airport You get off @ the stop b4 apple park. then walk thru the bus station or walk up Beach Rd (you must cross the road when you get off the bus) Walk up Beach Rd. Turn right @ the lights then a 1 min walk. The entrance is on the right hand side. Hope this helps.

    The Wii

What's your fav Wii game? Mine would have to be Bowling. My fav non Wii game is Donkey Kong Country 1.
  4. Yes i remember that dragon. It was nothing fantastic but it was a great ride. It was around about 1990.
  5. February & March are pretty quite. It's only when a few shcool's turn up that's a problem. I go in early or late Feb every year and don't have a problem. That's when all my passes expire.
  6. Don't worry about the rain. You can't control the weather. Just enjoy yourself.
  7. I hate going to a theme park and it's full of school kids. My sisters and i went to Adventure world in Geelong. There was like 10 schools so it was packed as.
  8. Well i suppose it depends on where you live then.
  9. OMFG that's a bloody rip off. Melbourne is only $36.00 But then again Sydney does have more rides and attractions.
  10. Maybe coz no one has complained? Maybe coz no one can afford a lawyer that would take on a major company.
  11. I'm just curious to all the peeps that have visited WWW. As it's a small park is the entry/passes worth the money? I'm going to get a pass regardless but just wondering what you think.
  12. Why can't you just turn up suss out the queue lines and if it's packed just go home? After all you do have a pass so the only thing your going to waste is bus fare.
  13. From what i've read the park is very small (WWW) so spending the whole day there could get boring. I'd just purchase an annual pass.
  14. Just thought to let you know that Blood Diamond opens Jan 11th.
  15. My sister friend who lives in Brisbane is one of those peeps. She hardly visits the park infact i'm sure she only visits when my sister visits. So far on tv i've only seen WnW, WWW, DW & SW & of course the world pass. Havn't seen an ad for MW since SE.
  16. Awesome pics myk. I like the tipping bucket pic also like the landscape. Is the ground the same as WnW or are they made of a diffrent material?
  17. You just have to chance it. When my sister and i went to the GC in OCT we didn't expect the parks to be packed but they were. You really don't know till you arrive.
  18. I don't think it's crazy. And as Gazza said MW has your money & that's what counts. I got my 1st MW pass when they had some special. I think it was buy a 1 day admission and for $15 extra upgrade to the star pass (Oct 2004) Since then i've been getting the pass. I find the passes (DW & MW) are worth their value espcially DW with the 15% off and as i stated earlier i go park hopping. You do get sick of the park after a while. That's why i go park hopping it's also great when i leave coz my flight is usually 7pm or later so it gives me a chance to visit the parks one last time before heading home.
  19. I prefer DW also love BB. I'll be renewing my DW & MW pass in Feb and will be getting a WWW pass as well.
  20. LW has always been like that since i've been riding it. The secret is to hold your head back. After all the announcer does say "keep you head back, Hold on and have fun" not sure if that's how it actually goes but it goes something like that.
  21. Off peak Saturdays is the best day to go. My sisters & i go during the warmer months on Saturdays as they are open from 11-11. So you can stay for 12 hours if you wanted. But as we live in Footscray we get there @ around 12 pm stay till 4 pm. Go home then @ 7pm we go back for another 2 - 2.5 hours. It's a great day out.
  22. You can either hire a Limo, drive or get a Taxi to Helensvale Station then a train to Nerang then a bus to Sufers.
