  1. Is this the only time it will be open? Or will it be open on other Fridays or even Saturdays?
  2. Me too. The old Rivertown and Gum Tree Gully (at least from the pictures I have seen), felt quite real, and it was covered in trees and other greenery. That kind of theming is what I reckon will happen, seeing as they spent so much on it already, I see no reason to spend a little extra to avoid it looking crappy.
  3. Finally The plane got itself some Redbull😄
  4. totally agree with you. I think the idea of a stunt show should stay, as it obviously gathers plenty of tourists, but this one is a watch and done show, there's almost zero rewatchability. They even removed the fireball at the end, HOW COULD THEY!? (I understand they had reasons, but still a crappy move by them yet again).
  5. Just discovered this thread (thanks for the bump). I doubt I still have the pictures, I might, but I was there that day. I remember it so vividly. I was 6 at the time, and I used to go to the stunt show every single weekend without fail, so I saw it at least twice, sometimes 3 times a week. I actually remember seeing one of the motorbike riders at a monster truck show that was held in the GC convention centre. Don't quote me on this but I think that the show was around 2017 or 2018. I remember that as soon as the accident happened, I stood up to get a better look, and although some knew what was wrong, most of the crowd thought it was part of the show. I still remember the Motorbike rider standing up bent over, before he limped of sidestage. My family was one of the first to leave as we were on the left side and near the exit, also because we knew something bad had happened. I'm not 100% sure on this, I may have just seen a video, but I may have also been there for the one where the motorbike Rider didn't land the jump and smashed into the side wall on the right side, but I'm not sure. If i still have any pics or videos I'll post it here.
  6. News here too (JR started testing go check out that forum) inside the motocoaster shop is a car! Also got signage now too! Bad lighting but it says collectables refreshments merchandise.
  7. When I get home haha still at dw this was the first thing I did when I saw it testing
  8. Bother I’ll screenshot the vid Horrendous quality but oh well it’s there.
  9. DONT HAVE THE HD VIDEO CONVERTED BY I CAN CONFIRM ITS TESTING!!!! IMG_0706.mov
  10. Definitely possible, Moto has always been unreliable IMO. I doubt it will last another ten years anyway. If it was up to me, I'd get rid of it now, it's just not getting the TLC it needs, and if it doesn't get a retheme, I doubt it will. I still hope JR and MM open in time though, even if Moto doesn't, at least the entrance is themed.
  11. Looks like I’ll be taking a walk down that road. Thanks a lot! I would take my drone over but it’s now covered in trees so I’m not sure if I’d see it. Also when was this roughly?
  12. I will attach a draft of the email I want to send. I am double checking because I only have one chance at this. Do you think this is good or are there any changes that you may recommend.
  13. Thanks. I'll give it a shot. The reason I was hesitant to write an email in the first place is because I once wrote to them regarding Blue Lagoon, and the reply stated that 'nothing' exists from the attraction, even though there is a MOUNTAIN just towering over the exit of ST. But I'll give it a shot, thanks.
  14. No it involved literally spending hours online, including looking through every mention of the Thunderbolt on this site and looking through about 40 pages. I just can't find any recent info since it was demolished so long ago.
  15. I have been doing some research recently, and I was wondering if Dreamworld still had some of the track and a train from the ride in back of house areas. Also, if anyone has images of it's demolition (files from the og posts were so old i couldn't open it) that would be amazing.
  16. Just conveying what DW is saying, don't blame me blame the maintanence guys for being lazy.
  17. They're closed. The maintanence schedule has updated it to reopening tomorrow.
  18. Well Triple Vortex, The Little Rippers, and Temple of Huey have all reopened, bringing the parks lineup back to normal (aside from fully 4/6)
  19. Not to mention that Dreamworld is still confident for a December opening. When you think about the progress they've made in the past two weeks on Murrisippi Motors, I'm pretty confident myself they are on track to opening. We can also see that JR is almost complete, so they can focus most of their attention on the ride now. I'm really excited to see the plane put in from the concept art.
  20. All I'm saying is, I won't believe they could be selling unless they find another asset first. It makes no financial sense to sell then buy, because if they can't find anything to buy then they're screwed.
  21. I was thinking the exact same thing. Just because some theme park companies sell their assets, doesn’t mean all of them do. I think Coast has settled in for the long run, and why sell? Dreamworld is on the rise again thanks to coast, and they wouldn’t dare sell now. If they ever sell, it would be due to bankruptcy.
  22. Can't wait to play the new version of dodgeball! Also would help ease traffic...
  23. I was thinking of saying that, but I refrained from it, because although the feet aren't there, I'm sure there will be many more thematic elements considering what they've been doing recently with the likes of Jungle Rush and Rivertown.
  24. Definitely agree there. The Claw was imposing, but with the entrance right in front of you as you walk down mainstreet, and the arm swinging out in front of you, it will sure be pretty crazy. It's also nice to have a different view now. The theming and colour scheme of King Claw also seem to fit in much better with ocean parade than The Claw ever did.
