  1. \ Do we still think its for sale? I'd say no Images Credit: https://www.facebook.com/GCthemeparkgirl
  2. As someone who's experienced the full SNW at USJ, I felt it to be quite underwhelming and a bit too gimmicky. The land has awful guest flow, the stairs that you must go down to walk around the land (to access 2 of the 3 rides, food and merchandise stores) are awful and you will get stuck there as people take photos, the land can only be exited by going up those stairs when you will get stuck again (or you can try to take the stairs up near bowsers castle where the extended queue was overflowing to). Yoshi's adds kinetic energy to the land, Mario should just use regular 3d glasses not those awful AR head weights, and Donkey Kong is just ok (cool concept, just not really executed as good as it could be). The powerup bands are a nice touch and actually work... but in queues that have the 'power ups', you will hear that the whole time going off. Universal must be very happy with this land considering that they've cloned it to 3 parks, and looks like this will be the fourth. I'd say that their Harry Potter lands are superior... and should be cloned, but that's just my opinion.
  3. I agree with this, I thought it was pretty easy to pick up. I thought the bat sound when you enter the temple was harder to pick up on as I didn't realise those were bats until they were installed.
  4. When I visited White Christmas last year, the ops team at DC Rivals was doing sub 2 min dispatches. It got to the point that after around 7:30 they were pushing out trains so fast that there weren't enough people in the queue to fill all the seats. I had never seen ops that good, ever at MW. Gates were opened as soon as everyone had cleared the seats and were retrieving their belongings behind the yellow line. Why can't they operate their rides like this during peak times, they're more than capable but just never seem to do so during regular hours.
  5. They haven’t really, i’ve seen photos of it up on the lands signage
  6. Earthstory has updated their Rivertown page, and the thoughtfulness behind the designs and concepts is incredible. This is a perfect example of a clear storyline executed with excellent attention to detail and a park that is fully on board. I've included some of the best photos below https://earthstory.com.au/portfolio-dreamworld-jungle-rush.html#
  7. What is the safety issue with opening the gates as soon as the train has arrived in the station, instead of waiting for everyone to get off, get their stuff and exit? Other parks, including down the road, don't seem to have the same issue.

  9. Vortex has the water fountain package right? they just don't use it
  10. With two trains, one train is ran backwards, and one is ran forwards. By already having the trains in these directions it only needs 2 turns on the turntable, whereas one train requires 3 to change direction as a forwards cycle departs the station backwards and returns forwards for the next backwards cycle. When the park is running one train, it completes the innerloop twice and outside loop once, whereas two trains complete the innerloop once and outside loop once.
  11. That's the only way the forwards and backwards cycles can work, the extra entry into the turntable allows for change of direction.
