  1. Movie World's first batch of attraction maintenance for 2025 has been posted. Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster is scheduled to reopen on 2nd of June
  2. Motocoasters "maintenance" end date has been pushed back again
  3. Does anyone know what’s going on with the Giant Drop at the moment? Only the side facing the M1 is operating, while the side facing Coomera/GC Train Line doesn’t have any cables, gondola, or catchcar assembly attached to the tower. Also, at the bottom left of the picture, there seems to be some sort of cylinder, any ideas what that could be?
  4. https://themeparks.com.au/unlock-the-magic “Limited Edition The Wizard of Oz(TM) Collector Coin” Do only new annual pass purchases get this?
  5. I was there on Wednesday and we weren't allowed to do up our seatbelts the whole day. Most restraints already have the fail-safe built in. However, if I recall correctly, only two accelerator coasters don’t have seatbelts, and both of them use a completely different train design (T-bars). Maybe it’s a case of the current restraint system, which was designed and developed in the early 2000s, requiring seatbelts? Not sure, just a thought.
  6. The seatbelts on SE are completely unnecessary, they can be undone at any point in the ride. Essentially a piece of mind feature. If they're not needed on a ride don't have it. It slows down ops. FSF was delayed due to the secondary restraint locking system (the seatbelt) it's a clever, completely custom design that doesn't allow for the seatbelt to be undone during the ride.
  7. Staff now shout, "Do not touch your seatbelt," when loading on Superman Escape. They now buckle the seatbelt for you.
  8. If you've got it setup using the VR Fast Photo website, all you need to do is click on Add in the navbar > Can't Find Photo Card > click on click here > and fill out the form. Hope this helps.
  9. They tried this at Universal Studios Japan from 2006 to 2011. "This mini-land, inspired by L. Frank Baum’s hit children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, invited guests to experience the magical and iconic fantasy world. Including areas themed to Munchkin Town and the Emerald City..." Sounds familiar? Seemed like it had some decent entertainment with the land too, a Wicked stage show.
