  1. Superman started testing this morning and was flying around the track, i think both Flash and Superman will be back by the start of the main holidays. Scooby, Flash and Superman will bring the capacity boost that is needed.
  2. flash has began testing today with Superman’w cables now tightened, it shouldn’t be too much longer until they open.
  3. the queue building didn’t have walls for years, it use to be plain black walls just before it closed. it also looks like they’ve gone a different design from when the original walls before they got torn down, the smoke in the fountain is a nice touch.
  4. all work walls are down around Scooby with the ride information board now also up at the entrance of the extended queue.
  5. Batwing was also constantly testing most of today as well, with it sometimes not even having a break between cycles and from what i counted launched 4 times within 7 minutes. they just have needed new air compressors and need to do a certain amount of tests before it can reopen.
  6. a different name would’ve been better, but the show overall already looks a lot better than HSD2. let’s hope they don’t disappoint.
  7. the reason WWF’s operations went bad after the returb was because they removed the constantly moving loading station and replaced it with a stationary station. scooby’s was always a duel load station, so i don’t think it will face the same issues.
  8. all indoor / water rides closed during this heat is really bad. they should just open scooby today /s
  9. i’m assuming it could be due to the heat today, but Rivals and WWF have been breaking down quite a bit, surprisingly GL is the most reliable ride in the park today.
  10. the launch cables seem to be installed back in place and all the tags and ribbons across the track have been removed, my guess is the major issues are sorted and testing shouldn’t be too far away.
  11. i’d say they just don’t want to give away Scooby’s opening date, with Flash and Superman i think that’s more of a “we’ll see if the problem is resolved in time” thing.
  12. i think Rivals maintenance period at the start of the year is purely for the repainting, i believe it’ll still have its normal maintenance period later on in the year. they might be separating it into two different periods so the ride isn’t closed for a very long period of time.
  13. when are you not complaining about something chile… it’s mile better than what’s down the road so why are you nit picking.
  14. imo Krypt of Kane is one of the best mazes they have done in a long time. both new mazes are very detailed (and feel quite long), but it is time for them to get rid of the three returning mazes. next year has the potential to be a very strong maze lineup, if they keep up the detail seen in both mazes and the scares seen in Kane for the 3 replacements. i’d rate the mazes; Krypt of Kane: 10/10 Eternal Dark: 4/10 DCeased: 3/10 (points because it’s such nicely detailed maze) Circurse: 5/10 Hellship: 4/10
  15. they didn’t say they were looking at options for Superman, they said they’re working with the manufacture in europe to deliver the parts they need. they wouldn’t have said that if they hadn’t ordered parts.
  16. staff members aren’t kept in the loop about stuff like this, the fact the park even acknowledged the closure and confirmed parts are being made and installed says everything we need to know.
  17. oh god the wait times for it will be crazy
  18. i could see them replacing the launch with LSM’s and replacing the trains with new gen blitz trains. I wonder what’s going on with Flash, it’s meant to be open for fright nights still but it has been closed alongside Superman, with the trains removed from the tracks.
  19. Green Lantern was testing quite frequently this afternoon with it not meant to reopen until September 19th, i wonder if it will be reopening early due to the issues with Flash and Superman.
  20. i think they will just be using the gate behind wwf as well as the doomsday gate, i won’t be surprised if the entire area is sectioned off, especially since there is no scare precinct up that way.
  21. i may be wrong but i’m pretty sure SE closed before flash. also, maybe i just didn’t notice it but it looked like Superman’s cable for the launch wasn’t attached.
  22. i’ve also noticed Wild West Falls is no longer open this year, neither are the wizard of oz coasters, meaning only 5 attractions will be open this year.
  23. Step beyond the stairs and into the bowels of terror. Beneath the infamous Hotel of Horrors lies something far darker, the Krypt of Kain. Once the site of ritualistic killings, it’s basement now festers with twisted fiends, feeding and multiplying. Step beyond the stairs and into the bowels of terror… but beware, few ever return. i am very excited for a sequel of House of Kain, i wonder if this one will be in the WB Showcase stage like the original.
  24. so there will be no IP mazes this year besides DCeased i’m assuming? eternal dark looks interesting, it’s either going to be really good or DCeased level bad.
  25. they have also posted a teaser on instagram, it looks like one of the maze may be space related and it sounds like zombies in the background, interested to see what’s coming.
