  1. Here is the full cypher if anyone wants to start decoding the messages in the area. This one says "worthy" This says spirit Vowt?x N?R ATLANTIS So basically it seems like the R and W got switched at some point and the letter E changed totally.
  2. I dont think the exit is temporary walls. They are finished in that pearlescent paint with wavy lines, just like the photo pass area and the test seat area.
  3. Would kids be able to tell the difference between a water playground made by Pro slide vs the current onevmade by Whitewater West? I still don't understand why people just want other parks to get the same rides that already exist in Australia. Eg why do you want a Steel Taipan clone?
  4. Indeed, nice to have some variety compared to Scenic Railway or Wild Mouse.
  5. It's actually kind of cool seeing a big deal made out of an opening day!
  6. But the 1st train should be out of the station on DCR before the 2nd one gets back, so the station block is clear. If the train didnt have to fully stop on the brakes it wouldn't have to crawl on the last turn.
  7. Space mountain is a bit more gentle than your average wooden coaster though.
  8. Train is on the track and looks like they are getting all the systems up and running: https://www.facebook.com/gumbuyaworld/videos/1544797515963915
  9. Roughly the bottom quarter of the tower is covered in white primer now too.
  10. And we have some new photos of construction today too thanks to @Luke https://www.parkz.com.au/search/photos/location/supanova From the video, the layout: Compared the original design: Happy that they made the the final drop the same size as Gravity Wave, looks much better. The flying saucer looks a bit supernova-ish too.
  11. Does anyone else reckon they will do flowing water on the roof of the Trident queue?
  12. If you include the first drop, I count 14 airtime moments 😁
  13. Wouldn't the station be in the same location as every other SFC 450 clone?
  14. Surley you'd put them on the main street and event centre roof, and then after that maybe over the car park?
  15. It can be, but you need a light sabre shop, droid shop, cantina etc.
  16. The track is complete https://www.leadstory.com/v/two-new-roller-coasters-are-being-built-at-gumbuya-world-2022112311?fbclid=IwAR3ZmLcPpAW3dxbeJRC0E66TLACcM7dzSlBUtp49mtlEzig4CcfogjC0MQs
  17. Oh yeah for sure. The one at USS is kind of lame because you don't even control the acceleration. Needs to be "push a pedal and it goes" type deal. Side point, does anyone even make petrol vintage cars anymoree?
  18. Maybe I'm uncultured, but a couple of the Metalbau car rides I did earlier I thought were quite 'nice'. I think the theming is more important than the propulsion system. https://www.parkz.com.au/attraction/dino-xpedition
  19. Lets be honest, no park is going to install a new petrol powered ride in 2024. For me, if its a car ride where you get to steer a bit either side of the rail rather than strictly following it that's a win at least.
  20. Depending on the layout, you could make it half and half, and have the turntable at the midpoint so its balanced. Depends if the first half or the latter half is better backwards though. It's a cool concept. Panic Coaster Back Daaan does something like this with its layout, but you go around twice so you every train starts the same way.
  21. So is it something like this? Train can leave either fowards or backwards, and then the turntable connects into the main course with a transfer at the end to get it back into the station? Or just a singular turntable and every 2nd train faces backwards?
  22. For the Big Red Boat, notice that the track has a bar in the middle. Does anyone else think it could be powered? And is this supposed to be a drive wheel?
