I meant the workings of rides, manufacturers etc. that kind of stuff... To my knowledge, most people don't know, nor do they care about those sorts of things. As long as it's fun they're happy.

Front seat around 6:20pm... Damn awesome... Lethal Weapon was pretty cool too, last ride of the day didn't hurt either! Who else went, because I could've sworn I heard a fair few people talking about things that I wouldn't consider general knowledge?

^Yeah, I was bummed about SDSC being dead all day... Did they evacuate anyone because the door at the top of the lift was open? (I'm just taking a wild guess) Or was it down all day? First time on Superman and BW owned! LW and Superman in the dark is pretty crazy too. Only other complaint is that Superman was only one train, but wasn't too bad... I got carried away and didn't get many night shots, but the fountain looks nice. Also, just wondering did they shut Wild West because it was getting dark or other reasons?

When I rang up enquiring about the 'locals only' offer, the person I spoke to thought the crowds would be smaller than normal... Theoretically people might see it as less value for money but I have no idea.

I've been wanting to go to Movie World lately, and this is perfect timing! With a bit of luck I'll be there. Thought's on whether either tomorrow, Friday or Saturday would be best time to go? (I love being there after dark, but a few more hours wouldn't hurt either) It's a shame Dreamworld isn't doing the same, I wish all parks in general would stay open later. Everything is a brand new experience then!

Yeah, I've got Brawl, USA release. It's dual-layer though, so it's a bit trickier to get hold of... (First DL Wii Game) Regarding the D2C key, you could've opted for a better chip, but I don't think they've had any problems yet so you should be right. (D2Ckey has 30 wires, D2Pro has 12-15, Wasabi has 6-8. Therefore, the installer makes more money off them) Mario Kart Wii hits the shelves soon, 24th of April off the top of my head... We actually get it before the US! (Europe gets it on the 11th of April though) Should be a blast, although I think they're going to run out of big names to flog soon...

Yeah, at this point in time you'll be fine to update. When new updates come out though, ask around a bit before installing them just in-case. Nintendo put that message there only to scare people. The worst they will probably ever do is either break your modchip or stop the Wii booting until you remove it. (Not a worry at the moment) Just out of curiosity, which chip did you go for? WiiKey, CycloWiiz, D2CKey, D2Pro, Infectus or Argon? By the way, Smash Bros. Brawl is an awesome game! No idea when it comes out here, but when it does definitely buy it! I'd go so far to say the best graphics on Wii to this day.

Yeah, Roller Toaster Cycoon isn't anywhere near as good as NL if you're after simulation. No Limits is more of a designer than a game, if you just want to burn time get RCT3.

I'd say its definitely possible, someone ported Transport Tycoon Deluxe to run on the DS... (Unofficial) I doubt you'd see any big names releasing it, but in terms of homebrew games it could be done.

Just wondering, has the issue with the fog and the red laser in the final section been cleared up? I thought it was a good finish to the ride, first time anyway... That and the fact everyone loves green lasers.

If I may whine a bit, it really annoys me trying to get up the stairs when they're clogged full of tubes. (Trying to access Jetstreams). At least on Mammoth Falls they used to have signs saying which side to stay on for the corresponding ride. People treat you as if you're line jumping. I asked them once and I was told it was the pump, but who knows... It was running when we stayed for the movie, but roped off as only one lifeguard was on duty.

I actually meant to take loads of photos there a few months back, but was having too good of a time to care... I didn't like the idea of having my camera near water either, friends and I shared the same locker. (And they'd probably chuck some wet things in without second thoughts) If I do take any photos, it'll most probably be at Movie World...

If you've got that many people, you'll probably need more than one... Just get everyone to bring $2 each, and get whatever suits. Source Old pricing though, I'm pretty sure it's $8 small, and $10-$12 for a large... (Can't remember the exact price)

Dreamworld only has one locker size, however WWW has regular and large sizes, priced at $8 and $12 respectively. Unless there's a large group of you, you'll be fine with an $8 locker. As far as wristbands go, I'm pretty sure they have electric combination lockers as well as wristband lockers. (I'm not 100% sure on that though, as it might've changed) I managed to fit three moderate sized bags, camera and a tripod into one of the $8 lockers at Dreamworld, and I'm pretty sure they're the same size. You might need to squish everything in depending on what you take. If you go for the combination lockers, try not to hit the wrong colour, I picked Blue by accident instead of Black, took several tries to unlock.

No chance at all that you could make it a Movieworld ticket? I've got a Max Action Platinum, so it's not much good to me... Not that I'd win anyway! I'll try and have a go anyway.

One thing I'm wondering about after seeing some of Gazza's photos... Is everyone supposed to 'blur' faces as to make people unidentifiable? I never knew this but it sort of makes sense. Can ruin the photo if it contains lots of people though.

Bummer, I can picture exactly what happened in my mind after seeing some guy working on the Sky Wheel at Darling Harbour while it was moving. Poor guy.

Yup, same goes for the MotoCoaster at Dreamworld. We saw people stuck in the brakes, they went out and released them one by one. Shame they don't have a way of releasing more than one seat at once, but I guess it's easier to instruct individuals then a large group on what happens next.

Well I used to frequent GameFAQs back in the day when I couldn't finish a game by myself. They're great for guides, but the community is pretty average. The site I'm addicted to right now is GBAtemp.net. Weird name, long history... It's mainly more focused on the more 'technical' side of games, but it's a good place! No cheats there though... (Well they do have Action Replay)
