Busch Gardens Europe, Williamsburg is building a B&M Dive Machine to outbeat Sheikra in its sister park in Tampa Bay. The new ride is called "Griffon" which is named after the mythological creature which is half-bird, half-lion. While the layout is generally the same as Sheikra, it will instead feature TWO Immelmans and have a 205ft drop which will make it the largest of its kind. Another unique feature of this ride is that Griffon will be introducing all new FLOORLESS DIVE MACHINE CARS which will make it the only Floorless Dive Machine in the world. A link for a CGI preview of the ride can be viewed here.

Oh yeah I've heard about this. Exciting yet not so exciting. I'm just curious as to where they are going to put it. There doesn't seem to me a decent spot to put it in IMO as Wiggles World isn't that big. I am also more concerned about this new ride they're building to replace Blue Lagoon. It's a real shame that Blue Lagoon is going, it had some of the best slides, but then what's the point of having two water parks?

I saw this keychain ages ago one time. When I first saw it I was thinking "Whoa! That looks a hell of a lot like the Scream logo for the Six Flags chain." I don't think it would be for Screamworld because the design of the font for the Scream text on the keychain and the Screamworld logo differ in many ways. Plus I'm pretty sure I saw it way before Screamworld started. But it looks like SF hasn't noticed the keychain yet so it should be fine.

Well it looks alright. I think the coaster is a bit close to the entrance of the park though (but then there's Flashback at SFMM...). Now since you have used a B&M Coaster I suggest making the train longer (seven if it's Stand Up or a Sit Down and nine if it's a Mega) and get rid of the lattace supports on the lift hill (have you ever seen a B&M with lattace supports?). You should also hide the rooves of the entry and exit buldings for the ride and keep the final brake run on the one height and level with the station's height too. Now judging from the entry gates I can tell you have some kind of hacking program which is good. I suggest giving yourself some more money ($5,000,000 is a good round number) and also zero clearance everything and place scenery walls and rooves above and around the entrance and exit buildings of your flat ride so they match the rest of the buildings. Overall it's a good effort but do the fix ups I mentioned and it will be much better.

Update time. I fixed the paths for the Cyclone by using paths, scenery and clever hacking so people can still walk on them but trees and the rest of Ocean Parade will come soon. Here is what is was: And this is what it looks like now: Enjoy!
-
OK thanks Gazza. I might even end up making Ocean Parade altogether LOL! The path though I have an idea that is so cunning you can brush your teeth with it but you'll just have to wait and see what I do.

OK I have made a small and probably last update for this coaster. I have made an attempt at the circular queue line building which isn't so circular LOL. The queue line building and the newly painted train going through the loop: Another overall view of the ride with the new lattace supports on the Lift Hill: Enjoy!
-
Thanks for the replies everyone! The colours for the supports though is hard and that's the closest colour you can get in the game. The colours for the train though I can change easily. Just one question though, do the supports for the lift hill have the horizontal parts in between? If not please say so and I will change it. EDIT: I looked at various photos of the ride and I found out so it doesn't have the horizontal connections so I've just changed it and the colours of the train. Screens of it tomorrow.

Hello everyone! I was bored today and thought I would make a Cyclone recreation. It doesn't have the queue line building but everything else is there. Here are a few pictures of it: The overall view of the ride: The Sidewinder and Vertical Loop: The Lift Hill and station: Enjoy!
-
Um... These recreations I'm sorry to say are not very good. Superman: Escape could be easily done with hacking a Giga Coaster with another coaster so it still had a launch and the part at the begining. Plus the whole layout could've been done better. Cyclone has a few mistakes eg. the track before the turnaround into the Sidewinder does not go through the Sidewinder and the colours of the supports are a sky blue. Scooby Doo could've been done better with the aid of hacking as well. That way you could have a working backwards section and the ghost train part would've been done a hell of a lot better. The best one out of all of them was Lethal Weapon even though and yet there are still some small errors. The inline twists go the other way and the final turnaround could've been done a hell of a lot better too. If you want to know how to hack just add me to MSN or PM me here and I'll find you a link to a hacking program for RCT2 (I use 8 Cars Per Trainer it's the best). Also what is a good uploading website so maybe I could share some of my rides? NOTE: When you hack rides most of the time they cannot be saved as most of the time they are just two separate rides put together.

OK fair enough but if you were going to make professional parks with it then the extra $2 would've been worth it. Trust me, you never use the WW and TT scenery, it takes up space in you Object Data folder so you only allowed a limited amount of custom scenery when you make your workbenches it's very hard as there is a lot yet useless scenery pieces that come with the expansions.
-
That's not all what I was saying Gazza. And I forgot that the waterpark will be separate to the main park so maybe a different name would be best. Anyway, even though you explained to me the reason why Dreamworld decided to put the waterpark where it is it's still going to be problemic as there isn't really any space for expansions unless they can put some in the carpark or go behind the bumper cars at Nick Central.
-
Ok fair enough Gazza. I just hope that if they get rid of Blue Lagoon they make good use of the land that it occupies, possibly even recycle the volcano and make it have a different use.
-
^ Yeah I say that all the time. The block brakes would be placed on that straight piece of track after the loop. And if they did that my opinion on the ride would be much better. Plus the queues would be a hell of a lot shorter than just over an hour on a busy day. The busiest I have ever seen the Cyclone was right at the bottom of the building where it reaches the 75 minute wait point and that could've been easily halved if they had a second train on the ride. Unfortunately for TOT and GD it's a bit hard to make queues shorter. All they can really do is not have any down-time and have efficient staff controlling the rides.

They had already started construction on the Thunderbolt when the park opened? I thought there was a go-kart track in the Thunderbolt area but it sounds like they never used it if they started construction on it that soon.
-
Thanks Joz and thanks for the welcome from Adam. But like I said before everyone such a Mr. Specific. I was only reffering to the generalisation of the two picture which was, in this case, the train being in the same position in the loop. And T-Bone, I have no idea what you're going on about. I took that photo myself for the Coaster Force main website so I thought I should just warn everyone that it can't be used for this website. That's all.
-
Nooooooooo Tony! You should've just gotten the original! Now you got the stinky expansions and you can't get rid of them because they're on the one disc! And if you think it's better value well it's not because the expansions are worth nothing! Aw well.
-
Well the park is only planned to have fourteen rides in it: Four coasters (one for every land), four track rides (one for every land too) and six flats. I have learnt from professional players that you shouldn't overload your park with rides but rathar with buildings and such. And even though the park is 100x100, fourteen rides is plenty for that amount of space. Considering the fact that I have a mountain range circling the whole perimeter of the park so it doesn't give me too much space to work with (especially that I have to make extra room for the final land). Anyway thanks for the comments.
-
*Groan* When I meant exact I wasn't talking about the rest of the picture! Incase you didn't realise I was reffering to the position the train was on the loop as they are very similar. Jeez everyone's a Mr. Specific aren't they?
-
I never said it was going to be replaced soon and I do agree that replacing it with something similar to the ride itself would be a pretty bad idea. But if it were to be replaced with something similar that would be a good way to do it. And you must go to days where there is no one around because everytime I queue up for Wipeout there's always enough people for the ride and more. Besides, what other flat ride could they possibly put in Wipeout's unique space and yet still fit in with the theme? All that I was saying was suggesting what they could replace Wipeout with. I know it's not going to be going anywhere for some time because we all know how parks like to hang onto rides until they litterally cannot operate anymore but still this topic was made about it and all I did was voice my opinion, even though it wasn't a good one at the time.
-
Um... Sorry to sound complaintive but isn't anyone going to comment on my work? Any help and advice would be much appreciated too.
-
Haha! One of your pictures looks exactly like a picture I took at Dreamworld a couple of weeks ago! Your one: And mine: NOTE: Please do not use my picture for this website as it was taken for Coaster Force.
-
Yeah but remember the path that goes to the Big Brother House goes directly through the area. I've always hated Big Brother and I always knew it would screw everyone over.

^ ROFL! Hmmm but think about the future on this one. It is expected that in 5 - 10 years the Gold Coast will have 1,000,000 more people or something living here. And that's a lot of people! So if they got a Giant Huss Top Spin they could be catering for the future of more people coming to the park at once. And that also makes me think about how they could've got a Huss Giant Frisbee for The Claw instead of an Intamin Gyro Swing. Don't get me wrong I think The Claw is wicked but when that extra 1,000,000 people come it's going to be a bit hard for it to keep lines short (Intamin Gyro Swings are only 9 storeys high and can hold 32 people, A Huss Giant Frisbee is 16 storeys high and can hold 50 people!). And as for having trouble filling it? I guess they would but remember that there's a food stall and a remote control boats. All they would have to do is move the food stall over a bit and there should be plenty of room.

Can you try and upload all your park maps onto here? I've got all the maps from when the Tower of Terror was first built. If you upload all of them onto here we could all have an idea of how Dreamworld evolved into what it is today.
