  1. You will not get any decent photos from Red Rooster on the M4 unless you want a pic of the top on Bush Beast, Space Probe and the very top of Demon's lift. Also if you go into the car park you will get the top of Space Probe, Bounty's and again the top of Demon's lift. You can see the crane that is removing the bits of track but it is through trees so it’s difficult to get photos. "The Bus is now leaving for Red Rooster Yard, South Australia"
  2. Not unless the main arm has broken. The reason Zodiac is hard to see is because it is horizontal at the moment. The maintenance guys were operating it every day or so for a while but haven’t for about 2-3 months now. When the ride is left for a period of time the hydraulic fluid evens out and makes the side that is down on the ground move up. This happened so fast that in the 14 hours between closing time and when the maintenance guys tested it in the morning the arm would have risen about 5 meters on the high side and about 2 meters on the low side. 3. I found where the Bush Beast trains are being kept today. They are up the back of the park next to a woolshed (not the one in the Wildlife Park), this area used to have a show at it for some tour groups. Here is a photo I got of the trains. 4. I thought I should start a new thread for this. I can confirm that today they started pulling apart Demon. There was a large crane there this morning and I saw it removing the top section of the first inversion. So far they have removed from the end of the station up to the middle of the boomerang, not including any of the lift. I have attached a photo taken from the side of the M4. It is the best angle I can get but at the moment it doesn't show a lot. I will update the progress daily. "The Bus is now leaving for Crane, Queensland"
  5. Paul I didn't say it was themed to the Crocodile Hunter, I said it was because of Americans love affair with him. I don't think it was themed to either one, yes Paul Hogan opened the first one but you have to remember that the main Dundee phenomenon was in the 80's when the first two movies were released. "The Bus is now leaving for Crocodile Pools, Western Australia"
  6. It didn't have any fire damage it was, as you said, a bad paint job. I think the reason for the black and purple colours was to tie it into the Transylvania theme. "The Bus is now leaving for Purple Hut, South Australia"

Fair enough. It was the way you phrased it, it sounded like it was essential for other reasons. "The Bus is now leaving for Strawberry Fair, NSW"

    JFK Reloaded

That would be just plain disrespectful, remember 2,752 people died then but with JFK it was just one, there is a line that people do not cross and that is definitely it. There will never be a game developed about 9/11, but if there is the US will never let it see the light of day. "The Bus is now leaving for Two Thousand Yard Dam, South Australia"
  9. Why would they want to do an Aussie themed water park? After all we are in AUSTRALIA. The only reason US parks have done it is because they love the Crocodile Hunter. I think the artic theme would work because of the hot climate in this country. Now that I think about it maybe the artic theme would work better at Seaworld because of the Polar Bears. "The Bus is now leaving for Cold And Wet, South Australia"
  10. I have a couple of pics of Beastie which I think I have posted here. Besides that I don't have any photos of the area in general. It was pretty much what you would expect from an area that hadn't been used extensively for a long time, paint peeling, weeds everywhere, etc. "The Bus is now leaving for Weedoodoo Rockhole, Western Australia"
  11. I mentioned it because I knew that people would ask why he goes nearly every day. "The Bus is now leaving for Neararroongaroo, NSW"

The subject of magnetic brakes has been discussed ad nauseum on this site. Basically power or no power the magnetic brakes still work. "The Bus is now leaving for Sick Man Creek, Queensland"
  13. Why don't they do something original? Something like an Artic theme. Fake ice and snow everywhere, artificial icebergs etc etc etc. They could even have one day a year where they bring in snowmakers and chunks of ice, it would be just like the Bondi Icebergs except without the rich snobs from the eastern suburbs. Why? Is it part of the required 'tools' when going to school? When I was at school all we needed was pencils, pens, exercise books, ruler and a protractor. Help me I sound like an old fart, "back in my day..." I never did use that protractor. "The Bus is now leaving for Anglezarke, NSW"
  15. I was talking about the correct building, the current administration building. Coaster_crazee have a look at this thread. It contains all the info I currently have about new rides. Jobe, I don't think LPS are going in the direction you are talking about i.e. unique rides, but are moving towards to becoming an entertainment precinct and honestly what a better location for it. "The Bus is now leaving for Moville, South Australia"
  16. The administration building at Luna Park is located behind the park and if you go through the gap between the dodgems and Coney Island it is pretty much directly in front of you. It is also used by other businesses so I doubt they will replace it with a cinema. I vaguely remember the photo in the paper but it looked like it was near the front of the park around the Big Top. Maybe this is the alternative to the office block they were going to build. "The Bus is now leaving for Big Top, NSW"
  17. I'm not going to discuss his mental state in detail here. His condition is actually quite serious and going to theme parks takes his mind of things. "The Bus is now leaving for Minda, NSW"

    JFK Reloaded

Yes it is available in Australia the link I gave is an Australian site but I have seen the game in my local games shop. Yes I am a wonder aren't I? "The Bus is now leaving for Little Wonder Mine, Western Australia"
  19. He didn't really stalk the female staff but had a habit of somehow getting their addresses and birthdays and sending cards and letters to them, which he still does. Jaggie I’m not sure which staff member you are referring to but he did it to anyone who would talk to him, well nod and smile while he mumbled. I don't think he would read this site but I won't make public the real reason why he goes to parks just about every day, and besides I don't think everyone really needs to know. He also went to Sega World on his days off from Wonderland. "The Bus is now leaving for Stalker, Victoria"

    JFK Reloaded

No need to imagine because it;s a reality. The game is called America's 10 Most Wanted. I haven't played it so I don't know what it is like. I don't see any problem with a game about the assassination of JFK, after all he is dead so it's not like he will be offended will it? "The Bus is now leaving for Afghan Cemetery, Western Australia"
  21. If you ended it why did you reply to my post? You read that I try to get people to bite and you have been the only one to do so lately so why get so offended by my posts? I comprehend the language fine but obviously you don’t, just look at the following quote and ask yourself "when was the last time I saw a correctly structured sentence with more than one full stop in a row?" I too can ask a question about your mum but I don't think Richard would like it even though it would be a joke, so I won't. But can you post your 'Yo Momma' joke because I love them and unlike you I don't take everything personally. Must go now and take my pills so I don't get the shakes. "The Bus is now leaving for Mummaloowyebubba Hill, Western Australia"
  22. Lunatic Lunapark Stalker AKA Weird Wonderland Stalker AKA Kevin. He was the guy who went to Wonderland 4 or 5 days a week since the park went to 7 day operation and before that went every day it was open since the park opened. He built a few of the rides out of paddle pop sticks, Beastie was one of them. He is a funny bloke, if you can understand him. I am sure Flea and Jaggie will know what i am talking about. I found a picture of him in my collection. "The Bus is now leaving for Lunatic Hill Opal Diggings, South Australia"
  23. I'm trying to get someone to bite but the only person to do so lately was AlexB in this thread. I'm still waiting for him to reply to my last post by the way. I was a staff member not ’stuff’ but anyway that is incorrect. The ride was programmed to drop approximately 5 seconds after the final cabin got into final position and that is why it seemed that the ride dropped at random intervals. Example: cabin 1 and 3 have 4 kids on each and cabin 2 has 4 adults on it. Cabin 2 is going to weigh more than 1 and 3 and therefore take longer to get up to the top so 1 and 3 go into final position while 2 is still going up. The countdown on the screens starts when the first cabin passes a sensor near the top of the tower. The countdown would often be around 1 or 2 when the last cabin got into final position so there would be another 5 seconds approximately before they dropped. "The Bus is now leaving for Dropmore, Victoria"
  24. Go and have a ride on them then. I don't see how I made an error as they are both currently 'standing but not operating'. Also Space Probe is yet to find a new home and therefore what I said is correct. "The Bus is now leaving for Standish Ranges, Queensland"
  25. It's got to be Demon because at the moment that’s the only one you will ever ride again. This has to rate as one of the studipist threads that is actually about theme parks. For this thread to be relevant the question should be "Which was better". "The Bus is now leaving for Try Again Bore, Western Australia"
