Has the ride parts arrived at the park in some form yet? 

@REGIEYes,but we are all keeping it to ourselves.

The attraction is not a large one. It's highly likely if they have it on site its inside the LTRR warehouse out of sight.

These things don't take long to go up. Judging by the photos everything is ready for install so it could start any day now, assuming parts have all arrived.

The ride is in! New Marvin / K9 models too, that sit on the operator's cabin.

Wow! That went up fast. I could see it opening in the next few weeks or so for the Easter School Holidays.

Looks great, love the theming on the op booth. 

Yeah nice, kinda bang on expectations wise for Movie World. Some nice key pieces to elevate a pretty standard ride installation. My hope is that after World of Oz this area continues to get more filler like this and they finally fill that sub 90cm height gap that Dreamworld & Sea World do well to cover.

If they do put more filler, I would personally sacrifice Speedy Gonzales for it, because:

1. Oldest ride in the park (only one remaining from opening)
2. JDS offers the same thing but 90cm+ can go on, including 145cm+
3. One of the least popular kids rides

It looks like it does have different colours though?

I think (maybe??) Regie means alter the light package to be themed to the night events. eg, red/green for Christmas

This is how I interpreted the post, and I think it’s a good idea.

Having the light on the attraction is great, especially during the parks family night events because the ride could definitely be forgotten about or missed if you didn’t already know it was there due to its location within the kids area

Is there any point when you're only changing one ride's lights, out of many rides?

The ride soft opened today for a technical rehearsal (guess they learned from Leviathan 😋)

Looks great! How were ride ops today?

Not too bad. It did have a long queue. Longest flat ride queue in the kids area. Staff were setting up more queue rails to extend it further. I didn’t stand around long enough to get a rough queue time

Now open to the public as stated on the park website and map.

Unfortunately due to the distance between the Gold Coast and Sydney harbour, no.
