As you may have noticed, all photos above have been taken with a disposable camera. So that would explain why the photos are of poor quality. Yesterday I took a trip to Wonderland.. And took along my mum's Nikkon camera. The weather was nice and the camera performed great. I got them developed today, and I must say that I haven't ever been so impressed with my photography! :) (must be family genes.. my dad is a photographer www.martinschembri.com.au ;)) There are a total of 18 photos. Look out for them either tonight or tommorow! :) ~Flea

I didn't realise they were with a disposable camera - in that case, they're pretty good shots considering the weather. With me, it's as if the moment I pick up a disposable camera, my hands immediately turn shakey, and my thumbs grow enough to cover the lens. Well, I can't wait to see the next batch of shots. The photos here are taken with I think three different cameras. Two are digital, one is an SLR (all the pictures of the NSW/Vic attractions are SLR). It sure makes a difference as you slide up the spectrum of cameras (believe it or not - it's not all in the hands that take the picture...).

As promised, here are the new shots! I must warn, some of them are fairly large.. but are of high quality! Enjoy.. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/001.jpg Space Probe during it's ascent. This picture wasn't taken on Sunday, but was taken some 8 months ago with my disposable camera. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/002.jpg Space Probe during it's descent. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/003.jpg The Demon coming down it's steep drop. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/004.jpg Space Probe car no. 3. This car was not in operation today. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/005.jpg The Demon entering it's first of 3 inversions. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/006.jpg Dragon's Flight. If you look closely, a sign states that the ride is in refurbishment. Literally seconds after this picture was taken, the ride started to go through a series of tests, and then opened. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/007.jpg The Demon. I took this picture quickly as I was running to the demon queue where my friends where waiting. As you can see, it didn't turn out as good as intended. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/008.jpg The Demon coming back through the station and hitting the brakes after a short and enjoyable journey through 3 inversions, six times! http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/009.jpg Space Probe going up. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/010.jpg Bounty's Revenge during it's painful head-over-heels head exploding experience. :)http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/011.jpg HMS Endeavour. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/012.jpg The Bush Beast what originally intended to be a POV shot of the bunny hill, it turned out to be a real good closeup of the track beside the train (due to roughness :)) http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/013.jpg The Great Baloon Escape http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/014.jpg Tasmanian Devil http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/015.jpg Space Probe queue line. No it wasn't that light in there, it's just that my flash made the queue extremely bright for a split second :)http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/016.jpg The Bush Beast POV coming down the second hill after the speed killing brake.. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/017.jpg The Bush Beast POV coming around a banked turnaround. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/018.jpg The Bush Beast POV coming down the first drop. http://ourworld.cs.com/Flea110/019.jpg The Bush Beast flying along the track just after exiting the fan turn. I hope you enjoyed those pics guys! I am currently in the process of making a 2 minute long video of Wonderland.. look out for that in around 2-3 weeks time! :) ~Flea

Had a look at the photos, very impressive (much better then my efforts with film :D ) Personally fav. would probably be the shot of Space Probe falling, even if it does make the ride look really short :) . You should upload all your Wonderland Photos to the Wonderland Album so there easy to see in the future... Plus you'd yet another person to beat Richard to the task of doing Wonderland photos (No offence Richie) :D Keep up the good work Flea!

Yeah, by all means, upload them here. :) It'd also mean if your current location changes etc., the links won't go dead. I tell you, I'm going to get down there this year, and I'm going to get so many hundreds of photos from Wonderland, we'll have pictures of every toilet and bin in the park. It'll happen - honest. Well, it looks like we're going to have a nice steady start to the season this year - not like 2000, when almost overnight the ski season began with about 50cm of snow out of nowhere. Last year, it was a bit late, and we had a week of nice soft powder, but the associated non-stop blizzards, and wind-chill factor that brought it down to about -10º all week.
